PEMANFAATAN AGENSIA HAYATI UNTUK PENGENDALIAN PENYAKIT LAYU KARENA NEMATODA PADA TANAMAN TEMBAKAU (Nicotiana tabacum L.)

Penelitian untuk mengetahui tanggap beberapa varietas tembakau terhadap macam biopestisida pada populasi NPA, kerusakan oleh NPA, dan hasil tembakau. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Juli hingga Oktober 2012, di lahan tembakau Desa Cindaga, Kebasen, Kabupaten Banyumas. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Petak Terbagi. Faktor pertama yaitu macam biopestisida sebagai Main Plot: P0 = tanpa biopestisida, P1 = Bacillus spp. B46, P2 = Gliocladium spp., P3 = Pseudomonas spp. P60, P4 = Trichoderma spp., P5 = karbofuran, dan P6 = Bacillus spp. B46 + Gliocladium spp. + Pseudomonas spp. P60 + Trichoderma spp.. Faktor kedua adalah varietas tembakau sebagai Sub Plot: V1 = varietas Lokal Banyumas, V2 = varietas Temanggung, dan V3 = varietas Jember. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian agensia hayati Pseudomonas spp. dan pestisida kimiawi karbofuran mempengaruhi populasi NPA di dalam tanah tetapi tidak mempengaruhi intensitas serangan. Tiga varietas tembakau menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pada hampir semua komponen tanaman tembakau kecuali jumlah daun, bobot segar daun, dan bobot kering daun. Terdapat interaksi antara varietas tembakau dengan aplikasi agensia hayati pada bobot segar batang dan bobot segar akar. Pada varietas Temanggung bobot segar batang tertinggi tanpa aplikasi agensia hayati, sedangkan pada varietas Jember bobot segar akar tertinggi apabila diberi karbofuran.

The research objective was to know the response some variety of tobacco toward kinds of bio pesticide on NPA populations, the damage by NPA, and tobacco products. The study was conducted July to October 2012, at the tobacco field in Cindaga Village, Kebasen, Banyumas. Observation of NPA was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jenderal Sudirman, Purwokerto. The research design used was a Split Plot Design with two factors tested. The first factor was bio pesticide as the Main Plot: P0 = no bio pesticides, P1 = Bacillus spp. B46, P2 = Gliocladium spp., P3 = Pseudomonas spp. P60, P4 = Trichoderma spp., Carbofuran = P5, and P6 = Bacillus spp. B46 + Gliocladium spp. + Pseudomonas spp. P60 + Trichoderma spp. The second factor was tobacco varieties as a sub-plot: V1 = Local variety of Banyumas, V2 = variety of Temanggung, and V3 = variety of Jember. The results showed that the provision of biological agents Pseudomonas spp. and chemical pesticide carbofuran affect the population of NPA but did not significally affect the intensity of the infestation. Perceptive of 3 varieties of tobacco showed diversification almost the plants component along with did not affect the number of leaves, leaves fresh weight and leaves dry weight. There was interaction between biological agents and tobacco varieties toward stem fresh weight and root fresh weight of plants. Temanggung variety reached the highest stem fresh weight without application biological agents, meanwhile the Jember variety reached the highest root fresh weight if given carbofuran.
