PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN URIN KAMBING DAN PENGURANGAN DOSIS PUPUK UREA PADA PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL PADI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji: pengaruh kosentrasi urin kambing pada pertumbuhan dan hasil padi; dan pengaruh pengurangan dosis urea yang digantikan dengan urin kambing serta interaksinya percobaan dilakukan dalam screen house di desa Banjarsari Wetan, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, mulai bulan Desember 2012 sampai Mei 2013. Dua faktor dicoba dalam percobaan ini, pertama konsentrasi urin kambing terdiri dari tanpa urin kambing (U0), 5 ml/l (U1), 10 ml/l (U2) dan 15 ml/l air (U3); faktor kedua pengurangan dosis pupuk urea terdiri tanpa pengurangan pupuk urea (P0, tanpa urin kambing, pupuk urea 100 %), pengurangan urea 100 % (P1, tanpa pupuk urea), pengurangan urea 75 % (P2, pemberian urea 25 %); pengurangan urea 50 % (P3, pemberian urea 50 %). Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan tiga ulangan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, luas daun, warna daun, panjang malai, jumlah anakan produktif, berat kering tanaman, jumlah gabah isi per malai, jumlah gabah hampa per malai, bobot gabah isi per malai, bobot gabah isi per rumpun, bobot gabah hampa per rumpun, dan bobot 1000 gabah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan konsentrasi urin kambing tidak berbeda nyata pada hampir semua variabel yang diamati, kecuali pada warna daun, kosentrasi urin kambing sebanyak 10 ml/l memberikan nilai yang paling tinggi. Pemberian pupuk urea berpengaruh nyata pada hampir semua variabel yang diamati kecuali pada luas daun dan jumlah gabah hampa per malai. Tidak terjadi interaksi nyata antara kedua faktor yang dicoba kecuali pada warna daun. Kombinasi perlakuan yang memberikan nilai BWD tertinggi adalah kosentrasi urin kambing 10 ml/l air dengan pengurangan dosis pupuk urea 50 % (U2P3) yaitu 3,97.

The objective of this research was to study: effect of goat urine on growth and yield of rice, effect of reducing urea fertilizer which were substitute by goat urine and their interactions. The experiment was conducted in a screen house at Banjasari Wetan, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, from December 2012 to May 2013. Two factor were treated in this experiment, fist goat urine concentration consist of no goat urine (U0), 5 ml/l (U1), 10 ml/l (U2) and 15 ml/l of water (U3), second factor reduation of urea fertilizer, consist of no reduation urea fertilizer (P0, no goat urine and no urea fertilizer), urea reduction as much as 100 % (P1, no urea fertilizer), urea reduction as much as 75 % (P2, urea application as much as 25 %), urea reduction as much as 50 % (P3, urea application as much as 50 %). Ramdomized Block Design was use in this experiment with three replications. Variabel observed were plant height, leaf area, color leaf, panicle length, number of productive tiller, plant dry weight, number of filled grains per panicle, number of empty grains per panicle, filled grains per panicle weight, grain weight per hill contents, empty grain weight per hill and 1000 grain weight. The result showed that effect of goat urine concentrations did not differ significantly for all of variable observed except on leaf color, goat urine as much as 10 ml/l gave highest value. Applications of urea fertilizer gave significantly affet on almost of all of variabel except on leaf area and number of empty grain per panicle. No interact significantly between two factors treated, except on leaf color. Treatment combination that gave highest value on leaf color chart is goat urine concentration as much as 10 ml/l of water with urea fertilizer reduction as much as 50 %, that is 3,97.
