Penelitian ini berjudul “Georgina’s Conflict in Enid Blyton Famous Five “Five on a Treasure Island.” Penelitian ini menghadapkan pada tiga masalah. Masalah tersebut adalah apa saja konflik Georgina pada novel Famous Five, apa penyebab konflik Georgina dalam novel Famous Five, dan bagaimana plot pada novel Famous Five. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengungkap 
masalah-masalah tersebut.

Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis data-data dalam novel dengan menggunakan kerangka teori konflik dan unsur intrinsik novel.

Ada tiga langkah dalam menganalisis data untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Tahapan pertama peneliti memilih novel Famous Five sebagai objek penelitian. Tahapan kedua adalah menentukan unsur unsur intrinsik untuk menggambarkan dan mengungkap konflik dalam novel ini. Tahapan terakhir adalah menganalisis data dan menghubungkannya dengan teori konflik dari Perrine dan unsur intrinsik novel.

Hasil dari penelitian ini mmenunjukkan bahwa ada banyak terjadi konflik pada karakter. Penyebab konflik yang meningkat ini karena aspek individu dan masyarakat. Selain itu, konflik terjadi di banyak sektor dan memiliki pengaruh langsung pada Georgina.

This research is entitled “Georgina’s Conflict in Enid Blyton Famous Five.” This research focuses on three problems, they are what Georgina’s Conflicts reflected in Famous Five Novel are, what the causes of Georgina’s Conflict in Famous Five novel are, and how the plot is present in Famous Five novel. Therefore, this research is aimed to uncover those problems.

In this research, descriptive-qualitative method is applied to analyze the data source in the novel that is analyzed through the framework of conflict theory and intrinsic element of novel.

There are three steps in analyzing the data to get the answer of the research questions. The first step was started by selecting the Famous Five novel as the object of the research. The second step was determining the intrinsic elements to describe and reveal conflict in this novel. The last step was analyzing 
the data by connecting them with Perrine conflict theory and intrinsic of elements of novel.

The result of this study shows that there are many conflicts among the character. The causes of conflict arises because of individual and societal aspects. Besides, the conflict is also found in many sectors and has effects toward Georgina. shows that there are many conflicts among the character.
