KAJIAN AWAL BIOMARKER PAPARAN TIMBAL (Pb) PADA SUPIR ANGKUTAN KOTA (ANGKOT) TERHADAP KADAR HEMOGLOBIN (Hb) DAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI

Supir angkot merupakan salah satu profesi masyarakat di Purwokerto. Mekanisme kerja supir angkot tidak menetap di satu tempat saja (mobile) dan beresiko tinggi terhadap paparan timbal yang bersifat racun bagi tubuh, sehingga perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan profil darah guna mengetahui kadar hemoglobin responden dan pemeriksaan tekanan darah guna mengetahui status hipertensi responden. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan masa kerja terhadap kadar timbal dalam darah supir angkot di Purwokerto, hubungan kadar timbal dalam darah terhadap kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dan hipertensi. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah sampel darah supir angkot di Purwokerto. Metode penelitian adalah teknik randomize sampling melalui serangkaian wawancara mendalam (deep interview) terhadap responden. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Juni 2013. Hasil penelitian terhadap 57 responden supir angkot di Purwokerto, diperoleh rata-rata tertinggi untuk kadar timbal pada supir angkot di Purwokerto dengan masa kerja 11-20 tahun sebesar 10,126 µg/dL memiliki rata-rata kadar hemoglobin kadar normal yaitu 15,338 g/dL. Rata-rata terendah untuk kadar timbal dalam darah dengan masa kerja 0-10 tahun sebesar 8,732 µg/dL memiliki rata-rata kadar hemoglobin kadar normal yaitu 15,628 g/dL. Secara keseluruhan kadar hemoglobin responden berada dalam kadar normal (13-16 g/dL). Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan bahwa masa kerja berkorelasi positif terhadap kadar timbal dalam darah (r=0,002), kadar timbal dalam darah berkorelasi positif terhadap kadar hemoglobin (r=0,091) dengan keeratan hubungan sangat lemah (r<0,2). Berdasarkan hasil uji Chi-Square, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,041 (p<0,05) yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kadar timbal dalam darah dengan hipertensi.

Public transportation drivers is one of the profession in Purwokerto. The work mechanism of the drivers are not settled in one place (mobile) and save high risk in lead exposure that has toxic to the body, so it needs to be done blood profile examination to determine about hemoglobin levels and blood pressure checks to determine the hypertension status of respondents. The research aimed to determine the relationship between tenure of public drivers transportation in Purwokerto and blood lead levels, the relationship between blood lead levels on hemoglobin (Hb) levels and hypertension. The material used in the study were blood samples public transportation driver in Purwokerto. The research method is randomize sampling technique through a series deep interview with respondent. The study was conducted from April to June 2013. The results of the 57 respondents public transportation driver in Purwokerto, earned the highest average levels of lead in the drivers of public transportation in Navan with 11-20 years of service life of 10,126 mg/dL had a mean hemoglobin normal levels 15,338 g/dL. The lowest average for blood lead levels with 0-10 years tenure at 8.732 ug/dL had a mean hemoglobin the normal level 15,628 g/dL. Respondents overall hemoglobin levels are within normal levels (13-16 g/dL). Pearson correlation test results demonstrate that the tenure is positively correlated to blood lead levels (r=0.002), blood lead levels were positively correlated to hemoglobin levels (r=0.091) with the closeness of the relationship is very weak (r<0.2). Based on Chi-Square test results, obtained significance value of 0.041 (p<0.05), which means there is a significant relationship between blood lead levels with hypertension.
