Pemberian Mikoriza dan Pupuk Kasgot Terhadap Pertumbuhan, Serapan P, dan Hasil Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum annnuum L.) pada Tanah Inceptisol
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)
Produksi cabai merah tahun 2021-2025 masih mengalami fluktuatif, akibat penurunan kualitas tanah disebabkan pemberian pupuk kimia sintetik jangka waktu panjang.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)
Red chilies production from 2021 to 2025 still fluctuates (BPS, 2025), due to a decline in soil quality caused by the long-term use of synthetic chemical fertilizers. Rising red chilies consumption has led to limited supply. Therefore, it is necessary to improve soil conditions by applying organic matter using microorganisms such as mycorrhiza, as well as organic fertilizer in the form of kasgot as a soil conditioner. This research was conducted to determine the effect of mycorrhiza and kasgot fertilizer application on the growth, phosphorus uptake, and yield of red chili plants. The research was conducted in the screenhouse of the Unsoed Faculty of Agriculture from November 2025 to July 2026, using a factorial Complete Randomized Block Design (CRBD). The first factor was mycorrhiza (0 g, 5 g, and 10 g), and the second factor was kasgot fertilizer (0 g, 150 g, and 200 g). The results of the research show that mycorrhiza has a significant effect on the dry root weight variable at a dose of 10 g (2.77 g) and on mycorrhiza infection at a rate of 5 g (60%). The application of 150 g of Kasgot fertilizer has a significant effect on the number of leaves (128.7 leaves); stem diameter (7.21 mm); crown dry weight (25.87 g); P uptake (280.49 mg/plant); number of fruits per plant (14.41 fruits); and fruit weight per plant (91.59 g). A 200 g/plant rate of Kasgot fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height (47.61 cm) and total chlorophyll content (2.83 mg/L). The interaction between 10 g of mycorrhiza and 150 g of kasgot fertilizer yielded the highest results in terms of increased P uptake (309.54 mg/plant), number of fruits per plant (16.33 fruits), and fruit weight per plant (104.13 g).
