Penelitian ini membahas persepsi petani terhadap penggunaan combine harvester di Kelompok Tani Manggala Tirta, Desa Maos Kidul, Kecamatan Maos, Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya mekanisasi pertanian dalam mendukung efisiensi, mengurangi kehilangan hasil, dan menekan biaya. Combine harvester dipandang sebagai inovasi yang mampu membantu panen menjadi lebih efisien, dan efektif. Keberhasilan penerapan teknologi ini tidak hanya ditentukan oleh ketersediaan alat, tetapi juga oleh persepsi petani sendiri. Karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat persepsi petani serta menganalisis faktor persepsi terhadap penggunaan combine harvester.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan bantuan SEM-PLS. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi persepsi kegunaan, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, sikap terhadap penggunaan, niat perilaku untuk menggunakan, dan penggunaan aktual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat persepsi petani terhadap penggunaan combine harvester berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (94%). Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa seluruh hubungan antarvariabel dalam model TAM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan.
Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa petani di lokasi penelitian memiliki penerimaan yang sangat baik terhadap penggunaan combine harvester. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa adopsi teknologi pertanian modern sangat dipengaruhi oleh persepsi petani terhadap manfaat dan kemudahan penggunaan alat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan dasar bahwa pemerintah, penyuluh pertanian, dan kelompok tani perlu terus memperkuat sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan dukungan operasional agar pemanfaatan combine harvester semakin optimal dan berkelanjutan.

This study examines farmers’ perceptions of the use of a combine harvester in Manggala Tirta Farmer Group, Maos Kidul Village, Maos District, Cilacap Regency. The research was motivated by the importance of agricultural mechanization in supporting efficiency, reducing crop losses, and lowering production costs. The combine harvester is viewed as an innovation that can make harvesting more efficient and effective. However, the success of this technology is determined not only by the availability of the equipment, but also by farmers’ perceptions. Therefore, this study aims to measure the level of farmers’ perceptions and analyze the influence of perception factors on the use of the combine harvester.
This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with the help of SEM-PLS. The variables examined included perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward using, behavioral intention to use, and actual use. The results show that farmers’ perception of the use of the combine harvester was in the very high category (94%). The analysis also indicates that all relationships among variables in the TAM model were positive and significant.
This study concludes that farmers in the research location have a very good acceptance of the combine harvester. The findings show that the adoption of modern agricultural technology is strongly influenced by farmers’ perceptions of the benefits and ease of use of the equipment. Thus, this study provides a basis for government agencies, agricultural extension workers, and farmer groups to strengthen socialization, training, and operational support so that the use of the combine harvester can become more optimal and sustainable.
