The Effect of Perceived Just in Time and Perceived EOQ-Based Ordering Practices on Production Efficiency with Raw Material Inventory Optimization as a Mediating Variable at Jansae Collection

Investigasi ini menyelidiki dampak Praktik Just in Time (JIT) yang Dipersepsikan dan Praktik Pemesanan Berbasis EOQ yang Dipersepsikan terhadap Efisiensi Produksi di Jansae Collection, dengan Optimisasi Inventaris Bahan Baku (RMIO) sebagai variabel perantara. Data dikumpulkan dari 77 karyawan dan dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM dengan SmartPLS 4 menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa RMIO dan Efisiensi Produksi dipengaruhi secara signifikan dan positif oleh praktik pemesanan berbasis JIT dan EOQ, sementara Efisiensi Produksi juga dipengaruhi secara positif oleh RMIO. RMIO juga memediasi dampak praktik pemesanan berbasis JIT dan EOQ terhadap Efisiensi Produksi, dengan nilai VAF masing-masing sebesar 52,26% dan 36,96%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa optimasi inventaris bahan baku adalah faktor kritis dalam konversi praktik manajemen inventaris menjadi efisiensi produksi yang lebih baik di Jansae Collection.

This investigation investigates the impact of Perceived Just in Time (JIT) Practices and Perceived EOQ-Based Ordering Practices on Production Efficiency at Jansae Collection, with Raw Material Inventory Optimisation (RMIO) serving as a mediating variable. Data were collected from 77 employees and analysed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4 using a quantitative approach. The findings indicate that RMIO and Production Efficiency are significantly and positively influenced by JIT and EOQ-based ordering practices, while Production Efficiency is also positively impacted by RMIO. RMIO also mediates the impact of JIT and EOQ-based ordering practices on Production Efficiency, with VAF values of 52.26% and 36.96%, respectively. These results suggest that the optimisation of raw material inventory is a critical factor in the conversion of inventory management practices into enhanced production efficiency at Jansae Collection.
