PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU AGROINDUSTRI GULA SEMUT DI CV HUGO INOVASI KECAMATAN KEBASEN KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Pengendalian persediaan bahan baku berperan penting dalam menjaga kelancaran produksi gula semut di CV Hugo Inovasi, Kecamatan Kebasen, Kabupaten Banyumas. Permintaan gula semut yang tinggi belum diimbangi dengan sistem pengendalian persediaan yang sistematis, sehingga berisiko menimbulkan kelebihan maupun kekurangan stok. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sistem pengendalian persediaan yang diterapkan perusahaan, menentukan jumlah pemesanan optimal, safety stock, dan reorder point, serta menghitung total biaya persediaan bahan baku dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data primer dan sekunder dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi atas data kebutuhan bahan baku periode Januari–Desember 2025, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan EOQ, safety stock, reorder point, dan total inventory cost (TIC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan saat ini memesan 2.000 kg bahan baku sebanyak 24 kali per bulan tanpa menerapkan safety stock maupun reorder point. Metode EOQ menghasilkan jumlah pesanan optimal sebesar 6.684,31 kg dengan frekuensi 7,08 kali per bulan, safety stock 4.650,14 kg, dan reorder point 15.537,99 kg. Total biaya persediaan perusahaan sebesar Rp19.020.768,00 per bulan, sedangkan dengan metode EOQ hanya sebesar Rp4.249.215,86 per bulan, sehingga metode EOQ terbukti memberikan pengendalian persediaan yang lebih efisien.

Raw material inventory control plays an important role in ensuring the smooth production of coconut sugar at CV Hugo Inovasi, Kebasen District, Banyumas Regency. The high demand for coconut sugar has not been matched by a systematic inventory control system, creating a risk of overstock or stockout. This study aims to identify the company's current inventory control system, determine the optimal order quantity, safety stock, and reorder point, and calculate the total inventory cost using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This study employed a quantitative approach with a case study method. Primary and secondary data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation of raw material requirement data for the period January–December 2025, then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using EOQ, safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory cost (TIC). The results show that the company currently orders 2,000 kg of raw material 24 times per month without applying safety stock or reorder point. The EOQ method resulted in an optimal order quantity of 6,684.31 kg with an ordering frequency of 7.08 times per month, a safety stock of 4,650.14 kg, and a reorder point of 15,537.99 kg. The company's total inventory cost was IDR 19,020,768,00 per month, while under the EOQ method it was only IDR 4,249,215,86 per month, indicating that the EOQ method provides more efficient inventory control.
