Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Koperasi adalah badan usaha bersama yang bertumpu pada prinsip ekonomi kerakyatan yang berdasarkan atas asas kekeluargaan. Koperasi merupakan soko guru perekonomian nasional. Salah satu indikator perkembangan koperasi adalah volume usaha koperasi. Volume usaha koperasi dipengaruhi oleh aspek keuangan dan non keuangan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mengambil judul “Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volume usaha koperasi di Pulau Jawa, periode 2000-2010”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volume usaha koperasi di Pulau Jawa, serta variabel yang paling berpengaruh. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk memberikan saran dalam merumuskan kebijakan-kebijakan pembangunan ekonomi terkait dengan perkembangan koperasi baik ditingkat nasional, provinsi, dan kabupaten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis korelasional dengan deskriptif analisis berdasarkan studi kepustakaan yang didukung dengan data sekunder. Data sekunder tersebut diperoleh dari Kementerian Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah dan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Berdasarkan analisis regresi data panel dengan Fixed Effect Model (FEM), aspek keuangan dan non keuangan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap volume usaha Koperasi di Pulau Jawa.  Secara sendiri-sendiri, modal sendiri, modal luar, dan jumlah anggota berpengaruh terhadap volume usaha koperasi di Pulau Jawa. Sedangkan variabel jumlah unit dan jumlah tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh. Variabel jumlah anggota adalah variabel yang paling berpengaruh. Oleh karena itu, penambahan jumlah anggota koperasi perlu dilakukan di seluruh Pulau Jawa.

The cooperative is a joint venture which rests on principle economic society-based, based on the principle of family. Cooperative is the role model for national economy. One of the indicators of the development of the cooperative is the volume of business cooperatives. The Volume of business cooperatives are influenced by financial and non-financial aspects. Hence this research take on titles “Factors affecting the volume of business cooperatives in Java Island, the period 2000-2010”. The purpose of this research is to find out factors that affects the volume of business cooperatives on Java Island and variable the most influential. This research is useful to give advice in formulating economic development policies that related to the development of the present good cooperative national, provincial, and district. The research method used was type correlation with a descriptive analysis based on studies supported with the secondary data. The secondary data were obtained from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises and The Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). Based on the panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), the financial and non financial aspects together have an effect on the volume of business cooperatives in Java. Independently, own capital, foreign capital, and the number of members influential positive effect of the volume of business cooperatives in Java. While the variable number of units and amount of labor has no effect. A variable number of members is the most influential variables. Therefore, the addition of a number of cooperative members needs to be done around the Java.
