Fenomena calon tunggal dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Kabupaten Banyumas Tahun 2024 memunculkan dinamika politik berupa hadirnya Koalisi Rakyat Banyumas (KRB) yang mengampanyekan kolom kosong sebagai bentuk protes terhadap konfigurasi politik dan keterbatasan pilihan kandidat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika terbentuknya Koalisi Rakyat Banyumas sebagai gerakan masyarakat sipil serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku protest voting melalui pilihan kolom kosong dalam Pilkada Kabupaten Banyumas Tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan informan yang terdiri atas akademisi, partai politik, gerakan kolom kosong, serta penyelenggara pemilu. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terbentuknya Koalisi Rakyat Banyumas merupakan respons terhadap minimnya kompetisi politik akibat munculnya pasangan calon tunggal. KRB kemudian berkembang sebagai gerakan masyarakat sipil yang mengorganisasi dan memobilisasi masyarakat untuk menggunakan kolom kosong sebagai alternatif politik yang sah. Dalam perspektif rational choice, keterlibatan aktor dalam KRB menunjukkan adanya pertimbangan terhadap alternatif politik yang tersedia ketika jalur politik formal dipandang tidak mampu mengakomodasi kepentingan tertentu. Sementara itu, berdasarkan perspektif Exit, Voice, and Loyalty Hirschman, pilihan kolom kosong merupakan bentuk voice, karena pemilih tetap berpartisipasi dalam proses elektoral sekaligus menyampaikan penolakan terhadap pasangan calon tunggal.

The phenomenon of a single candidate in the 2024 Banyumas Regency Regional Head Election has given rise to political dynamics in the form of the Banyumas People's Coalition (KRB), which is campaigning for the blank column as a form of protest against the political configuration and limited candidate choices. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the formation of the Banyumas People's Coalition as a civil society movement and analyze the factors that influence protest voting behavior through the choice of the blank column in the 2024 Banyumas Regency Election. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with informants consisting of academics, political parties, the blank column movement, and election organizers. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the formation of the Banyumas People's Coalition was a response to the lack of political competition due to the emergence of a single candidate pair. KRB then developed as a civil society movement that organizes and mobilizes the community to use the blank column as a legitimate political alternative. In the perspective ofrational choice, the involvement of actors in the KRB indicates consideration of available political alternatives when formal political channels are deemed incapable of accommodating certain interests. Meanwhile, based on the perspective of Exit, Voice, and Loyalty (Hirschman), the choice of blank columns is a form of voice, because voters still participate in the electoral process while also expressing their rejection of the single candidate pair
