Pengaruh Penambahan Ampas Tahu dan Serbuk Tongkol Jagung terhadap Produktivitas Jamur Tiram Cokelat (Pleurotus cystidiosus)

Jamur tiram cokelat (Pleurotus cystidiosus) merupakan komoditas bernilai ekonomi tinggi karena mengandung beragam manfaat dan dapat dibudi dayakan. Salah satu kendala budi daya jamur tiram cokelat adalah terbatasnya serbuk kayu sebagai bahan utama medium tanam (baglog), sehingga diperlukan bahan alternatif seperti ampas tahu dan serbuk tongkol jagung. Kedua bahan tersebut mengandung nutrisi yang dapat memengaruhi pertumbuhan jamur. Ampas tahu menyediakan protein dan karbohidrat, sedangkan tongkol jagung mengandung lignoselulosa yang mendukung pembentukan miselium dan tubuh buah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis bahan tambahan dan konsentrasinya terhadap produktivitas jamur tiram cokelat (Pleurotus cystidiosus) serta mengetahui perlakuan yang terbaik dalam mendukung produktivitas jamur tiram cokelat. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan tujuh perlakuan, lima ulangan dengan variasi konsentrasi kedua bahan tersebut. Variasi konsentrasi bahan meliputi P0 (kontrol), P1 (medium dasar + 10% ampas tahu), P2 (medium + 30% ampas tahu), P3 (medium + 10% serbuk tongkol jagung), P4 (medium + 30% serbuk tongkol jagung), P5 (medium + 10% ampas tahu + 10% serbuk tongkol jagung), dan P6 (medium + 30% ampas tahu + 30% serbuk tongkol jagung). Parameter utama penelitian ini yaitu nilai bobot basah dengan parameter pendukung yaitu laju pertumbuhan miselium, waktu kemunculan tubuh buah, diameter tudung, jumlah tubuh buah, biological eficiency ratio (BER), pH medium, suhu dan kelembapan kumbung. Parameter utama dianalisis ANOVA dan diuji lanjut dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bobot basah tertinggi pada perlakuan P5 (80% medium dasar + 10% ampas tahu + 10% serbuk tongkol jagung) dengan berat mencapai 250,2 g. Uji statistik menunjukkan pada parameter bobot basah tubuh buah P5 tidak berbeda nyata dengan P1, namun berbeda nyata dengan P0, P2, P3, P4, dan P6. Berdasarkan uji statistik dan hasil pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan ampas tahu dan serbuk tongkol jagung berpengaruh nyata terhadap produktivitas P. cystidiosus dan perlakuan P5 (80% medium dasar + 10% ampas tahu + 10% serbuk tongkol jagung) dan P1 (90% medium dasar + 10% ampas tahu) merupakan perlakuan terbaik dengan hasil akhir bobot basah P5 sebanyak 250,2 g dan bobot basah P1 sebanyak 193,4 g.

Brown oyster mushroom (Pleurotus cystidiosus) is a high-value commodity due to its numerous health benefits and its potential for commercial cultivation. One of the major constraints in cultivating brown oyster mushrooms is the limited availability of sawdust as the primary substrate for the growing medium (baglog). Therefore, alternative materials such as tofu dregs and corncob powder are needed. Both materials contain nutrients that can influence mushroom growth. Tofu dregs are rich in protein and carbohydrates, while corncob powder contains lignocellulosic compounds that support mycelial development and fruiting body formation. This study aimed to determine the effect of different supplementary materials and their concentrations on the productivity of brown oyster mushroom (Pleurotus cystidiosus) and to identify the most effective treatment for enhancing mushroom productivity. This study employed a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of seven treatments and five replications with different concentrations of the supplementary materials. The treatments were P0 (control), P1 (basal medium + 10% tofu dregs), P2 (basal medium + 30% tofu dregs), P3 (basal medium + 10% corncob powder), P4 (basal medium + 30% corncob powder), P5 (basal medium + 10% tofu dregs + 10% corncob powder), and P6 (basal medium + 30% tofu dregs + 30% corncob powder). The primary parameter measured in this study was the fresh weight of the fruiting bodies, while the supporting parameters included mycelial growth rate, time to fruiting body emergence, cap diameter, number of fruiting bodies, biological efficiency ratio (BER), substrate pH, and the temperature and humidity of the mushroom hosue main parameter observed was fresh weight, while the supporting parameters included mycelial growth rate, time to fruiting body emergence, pileus diameter, number of fruiting bodies, biological efficiency ratio, medium pH, and the temperature and humidity of the mushroom house. The primary parameter was analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT)The main parameter was analyzed using SPSS software, followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that the highest fresh weight was obtained in treatment P5 (80% basal medium + 10% tofu dregs + 10% corncob powder), reaching 250,2 g. Statistical analysis indicated that the fresh weight of fruiting bodies in treatment P5 was not significantly different from that of P1 but was significantly different from treatments P0, P2, P3, P4, and P6. Based on the statistical analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the addition of tofu dregs and corncob powder significantly affected the productivity of Pleurotus cystidiosus. Treatments P5 (80% basal medium + 10% tofu dregs + 10% corncob powder) and P1 (90% basal medium + 10% tofu dregs) were identified as the best treatments, producing final fresh weights of 250,2 g and 193,4 g, respectively.
