Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) respon tanaman selada terhadap pemberian pupuk kandang kambing (2) respon tanaman selada terhadap pemberian PGPR (3) pengaruh interaksi antara pupuk kandang kambing dengan PGPR.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sreenhouse di Desa Banjarsari Wetan, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan, mulai bulan November 2012 sampai dengan Februari 2013. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL) faktorial yang terdiri atas 9 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba meliputi dua faktor yaitu PGPR dengan konsentrasi 0, 15, 30 cc/l dan pupuk kandang kambing dengan dosis 10, 20, 30 ton/ha. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), bobot basah tanaman (g), bobot basah akar (g), bobot basah tajuk (g), bobot kering tanaman (g), bobot kering akar (g), bobot kering tajuk (g), volume aka (ml), dan luas daun (cm2). Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan uji F, apabila terdapat pengaruh yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT dengan taraf kesalahan 5% dan dilanjutkan analisis regresi untuk memperoleh dosis optimal pupuk kandang kambing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pupuk kandang kambing sangat berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman (28,29 cm), jumlah daun (9,91 helai), bobot basah tanaman (50,29 g), bobot basah akar (2,98 g), bobot basah tajuk (47,41 g), bobot kering tanaman (2,5 g), bobot kering akar (0,30 g), bobot kering tajuk (2,29 g) dan volume akar (3,15 cm2), sedangkan pemberian PGPR dan interaksi antara pupuk kandang kambing dan PGPR tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap semua variabel pengamatan.

Objectives of the study were to know: (1) the response of lettuce to the giving of goat manure (2) the response of lettuce to the giving of PGPR (3) the effect of interaction between goat manure and PGPR. The research was carried out in the screen house, at Banjarsari Wetan village, Sumbang district, Banyumas regency. The research was carried out for 3 months, started from November 2012 until February 2013. The experimental design used was a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of 9 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment two factors: PGPR concentrations of 0, 15, 30 cc/l and goat manure at a dose of 10, 20, 30 ton/ha. Observed variables were plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaf), plant wet weight (g), root wet weight (g), crown wet weight (g), plant dry weight (g), root dry weight (g), crown dry weight (g), root volume (ml) and leaf area (cm2). The data were analyzed using the F test, if there is a significantly different effect then continued by DMRT in standard of error 5%, and continued by regression analysis to obtain the optimum dosage of goat manure. The result of the research showed that the given of goat manure gave the very strong effect to plant height (28,43 cm), the number of leaves (9,91 leaves), plant wet weight (50,29 g), root wet weight (2,98 g), crown wet weight (47,41 g), plant dry weight (2,5 g), root dry weight (0,30 g), crown dry weight (2,29 g), and root volume (3,15 ml), where the given of PGPR and the interaction of goat manure and PGPR did not significantly affect all of the observed variables.
