Performa Ayam Broiler Fase Starter dan Fase Finisher dengan Kondisi Lantai yang Berbeda pada Sistem Kandang Closed House
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)
Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung selama satu periode pemeliharaan di kandang A CV Dian Pratama.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)
This study aimed to determine the differences in broiler performance during the starter and finisher phases raised at different floor levels in a closed house system with a population of 16,000 birds per house of Ross CP-707 strain. The observed parameters included feed consumption, average daily gain (ADG), feed conversion ratio (FCR), depletion, and performance index (PI). The data were obtained through direct observation during one production cycle in house A of CV Dian Pratama. The results showed that feed consumption on the first floor tended to be higher than that on the second floor; however, statistical analysis indicated no significant difference (P>0.05). The ADG values on both floors were relatively similar during both the starter and finisher phases. The FCR value on the second floor tended to be lower, indicating better feed efficiency, but statistically it was not significantly different (P>0.05). The depletion percentage on both floors was within the normal range. The performance index value on the second floor was 352, which was higher than that on the first floor (338). Overall, differences in floor levels in the closed house system did not have a significant effect on broiler production performance.
