Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif dan tindak tutur ilokusi representatif yang digunakan dalam tayangan YouTube Catatan Demokrasi TV One episode “Pagar Laut”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Sumber data berasal dari tayangan program Catatan Demokrasi episode “Pagar Laut” yang tersedia di kanal resmi YouTube TV One. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan verbal peserta diskusi yang memuat tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif dan representatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode simak, teknik lanjutan yang diterapkan dalam adalah teknik simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC). Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode padan yang dilengkapi dengan teknik dasar analisis, yaitu teknik pilah unsur penentu (PUP). Adapun teknik lanjutan yang digunakan adalah teknik hubung banding menyamakan (HBS) dan teknik hubung banding membedakan (HBB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan berbagai bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif, antara lain mengucapkan terima kasih, meminta maaf, dan menyambut. ketiga bentuk tersebut berperan untuk mengatur alur interaksi dan menjaga kesantunan di tengah perbedaan pendapat. Adapun, ditemukan juga bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi representatif yang meliputi, memberitahukan, menyatakan, menjelaskan, menyarankan, berspekulasi, dan menunjukkan. Keenam bentuk yang ditemukan digunakan penutur untuk menyampaikan informasi, membangun dan mempertahankan argumen, serta merespons pandangan lawan tutur dalam diskusi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif dan representatif berperan penting dalam membangun dinamika diskusi politik serta membentuk opini publik dalam konteks komunikasi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik validasi berupa triangulasi teori, yaitu hasil penelitian akan dibandingkan dengan teori Austin.

This study aims to describe the forms of expressive illocutionary acts and representative illocutionary acts used in the YouTube broadcast of TV One's Catatan Demokrasi episode “Pagar Laut.” This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. The data source comes from the Catatan Demokrasi episode “Pagar Laut” broadcast available on TV One's official YouTube channel. The data in this study consists of verbal utterances from discussion participants that contain expressive and representative illocutionary acts. Data collection was carried out by applying the observation method, with the advanced technique applied being the non-conversation partisipant observation. The data analysis technique used the matching method, supplemented with a basic analysis technique, namely the determining element sorting technique (PUP). The advanced techniques used were the comparative connection technique (HBS) and the contrasting connection technique (HBB). The results of the study showed that various forms of expressive illocutionary acts were found, including expressing gratitude, apologizing, and welcoming. These three forms play a role in regulating the flow of interaction and maintaining politeness amid differences of opinion. Representative illocutionary acts were also found, including informing, stating, explaining, suggesting, speculating, and demonstrating. These six forms were used by speakers to convey information, construct and maintain arguments, and respond to the views of their interlocutors in discussions. These findings show that expressive and representative illocutionary acts play an important role in building the dynamics of political discussions and shaping public opinion in the context of digital communication. This study uses a validation technique in the form of theory triangulation, whereby the research results will be compared with Austin's theory.
