PENGARUH APLIKASI KASGOT DAN DOSIS PUPUK N, P, K TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK FISIOLOGI DAN EFISIENSI PUPUK TANAMAN PADI GOGO DI TANAH INCEPTISOL

Padi gogo merupakan komoditas strategis dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional, khususnya pada lahan kering yang didominasi tanah Inceptisol, namun produktivitasnya masih relatif rendah akibat kemasaman tanah, rendahnya kandungan bahan organik, dan efisiensi pemupukan yang kurang optimal. Upaya peningkatan produktivitas dapat dilakukan melalui penggunaan pupuk organik kasgot yang mampu memperbaiki sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi tanah, serta pemberian pupuk anorganik N, P, dan K sebagai sumber hara makro esensial. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi pupuk kasgot, dosis pupuk NPK, serta interaksi keduanya terhadap karakteristik fisiologi dan efisiensi pemupukan tanaman padi gogo di tanah Inceptisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Mei–November 2025 di Kebun Percobaan dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman pada ketinggian 110 mdpl, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap faktorial dua faktor dengan tiga ulangan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi pertumbuhan, fisiologi, hasil, serapan hara N, P, K, serta efisiensi pemanfaatan pupuk, dan data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam taraf 5% dilanjutkan uji DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pupuk kasgot berpengaruh terhadap jumlah anakan umur 5 MST dan serapan nitrogen, serta berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap serapan fosfor dan kalium, sedangkan dosis pupuk NPK berpengaruh terhadap bobot gabah per tanaman dan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap serapan N, P, K serta efisiensi pemanfaatan pupuk. Interaksi antara pupuk kasgot dan dosis NPK memengaruhi kerapatan stomata, serapan fosfor dan kalium, efisiensi fisiologi nitrogen, serta efisiensi pemanfaatan pupuk fosfor.

Upland rice is a strategic commodity for supporting national food security, particularly in areas dominated by Inceptisol soils; however, its productivity remains low due to soil acidity, low organic matter content, and suboptimal fertilizer-use efficiency. Productivity improvement can be achieved through the application of organic fertilizer such as maggot frass, which improves soil physical, chemical, and biological properties, as well as through the application of inorganic N, P, and K fertilizers as sources of essential macronutrients. This study aimed to analyze the effects of maggot frass application, N, P, and K fertilizer rates, and their interaction on the physiological characteristics and fertilizer-use efficiency of upland rice grown on Inceptisol soil. The study was conducted from May to November 2025 at the Experimental Farm Screenhouse and the Agronomy and Horticulture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, using a factorial randomized complete block design with two factors and three replications. Observed variables included growth, physiological, and yield parameters, nutrient uptake, and fertilizer-use efficiency, and data were analyzed using variance analysis and continued by DMRT α 5% . The results showed that maggot frass application affected tiller number and nutrient uptake, with highly significant effects on phosphorus and potassium uptake, while NPK fertilizer rates significantly influenced grain weight per plant, nutrient uptake, and fertilizer-use efficiency. Furthermore, the interaction between maggot frass and NPK fertilizer rates affected several physiological parameters, nutrient uptake, and nutrient-use efficiency in upland rice.
