ANALISIS PERFORMA JARINGAN WIRELESS TOPOLOGI MESH DENGAN PARAMETER QUALITY OF SERVICES (QoS) PADA LINGKUNGAN GEDUNG BERTINGKAT: STUDI KASUS WITEL JAKARTA BARAT

Perkembangan perangkat Internet of Things (IoT) menuntut infrastruktur jaringan yang andal, stabil, dan mampu beroperasi pada lingkungan gedung bertingkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja jaringan wireless topologi mesh Ruijie Reyee dalam mendukung sistem pemantauan konsumsi energi listrik berbasis perangkat IoT power meter. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pengukuran Quality of Service (QoS) yang meliputi parameter throughput, jitter, packet loss, dan Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), kemudian dievaluasi menggunakan standar TIPHON. Hasil pengujian mendapatkan nilai rata-rata pengukuran pada throughput unggah sebesar 15 Mbps dan nilai throughput unduh sebesar 11,855 Mbps yang menjadikan nilai throughput unggah dan unduh berada pada kategori sangat baik, dengan jitter yang rendah dan kualitas sinyal yang sangat baik di seluruh lokasi pengujian dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 1,543 ms. Meskipun nilai packet loss rata-rata keseluruhan adalah 1,389% yang berada dalam kategori sangat baik, namun ditemukan anomali lonjakan packet loss pada lantai dua sebesar 2,393% dan lantai tiga sebesar 6,363%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa anomali tersebut tidak disebabkan oleh kualitas sinyal, melainkan oleh ketidakstabilan jalur backhaul nirkabel dan interferensi lokal pada node mesh. Nilai RSSI terukur dengan rata-rata -34,285 dB yang masuk pada kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, jaringan wireless topologi mesh Ruijie Reyee dinilai layak mendukung sistem pemantauan konsumsi energi listrik berbasis IoT dengan beberapa optimasi lebih lanjut.

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) devices requires a reliable, stable network infrastructure that is capable of operating in multi-story buildings. This study aims to analyze the performance of Ruijie Reyee mesh topology wireless networks in supporting electricity consumption monitoring systems based on IoT power meter devices. The research method was conducted by measuring Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, including throughput, jitter, packet loss, and Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), which were then evaluated using the TIPHON standard. Test results obtained an average measurement value for upload throughput of 15 Mbps and a download throughput value of 11.855 Mbps, placing the upload and download throughput values in the excellent category, with low jitter and excellent signal quality across all test locations with an average value of 1.543 ms. Although the overall average packet loss value was 1.389%, which is in the excellent category, there were anomalies in packet loss spikes on the second floor of 2.393% and on the third floor of 6.363%. The analysis results show that these anomalies were not caused by signal quality, but rather by wireless backhaul path instability and local interference at the mesh node. The measured RSSI value averaged -34.285 dB, which is in the excellent category. Based on these analysis results, the Ruijie Reyee mesh topology wireless network is considered suitable for supporting an IoT-based electricity consumption monitoring system with some further optimization.
