Latar Belakang: Limfoma non-Hodgkin (LNH) merupakan salah satu neoplasma limfoid yang sering ditemukan dengan manifestasi ekstranodal, termasuk pada saluran cerna dan mesenterium. Diagnosis LNH memerlukan integrasi data klinis, histopatologi, serta imunohistokimia (IHK). Data mengenai karakteristik klinis dan profil IHK LNH pada traktus digestivus inferior dan mesenterium di Indonesia masih terbatas.
Tujuan: Mengetahui karakteristik klinis dan profil IHK (CD20 dan CD3) pasien LNH pada traktus digestivus inferior dan mesenterium di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo periode 2022–2024.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif retrospektif menggunakan data sekunder dari rekam medis dan laporan pemeriksaan patologi anatomi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pasien dengan diagnosis LNH pada traktus digestivus inferior atau mesenterium yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi usia, jenis kelamin, tempat tinggal, lokasi tumor, serta hasil pemeriksaan IHK (CD20 dan CD3). Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif univariat dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dan persentase.
Hasil: Ditemukan sejumlah 40 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Mayoritas pasien berada pada kelompok usia 40-60 tahun dengan proporsi jenis kelamin terbanyak adalah laki-laki. Lokasi tumor paling banyak ditemukan pada caecum dan mesenterium. Pasien umumnya bertempat tinggal di wilayah eks-karesidenan Banyumas. Pemeriksaan IHK menunjukkan bahwa ekspresi CD20 positif lebih dominan dibandingkan ekspresi CD3.
Kesimpulan: LNH pada traktus digestivus inferior dan mesenterium di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo periode 2022–2024 paling sering ditemukan pada kelompok usia 40-60 tahun dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki, dengan lokasi terbanyak di caecum. Pasien paling banyak bertempat tinggal di Banyumas. Ekspresi IHK didominasi oleh CD20, yang menegaskan bahwa mayoritas kasus berasal dari sel B.

Background: Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is one of the most common lymphoid neoplasms, with frequent extranodal manifestations, including the gastrointestinal tract and mesentery. The diagnosis of NHL requires integration of clinical, histopathological, and immunohistochemical (IHC) findings. However, data on the clinical characteristics and IHC profiles of NHL in the lower gastrointestinal tract and mesentery in Indonesia remain limited.
Objective: To describe the clinical characteristics and immunohistochemical (CD20 and CD3) profiles of patients with NHL of the lower gastrointestinal tract and mesentery at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo during the period 2022–2024.
Methods: This was a retrospective descriptive study using secondary data obtained from medical records and pathology reports. The study population included all patients diagnosed with NHL of the lower gastrointestinal tract or mesentery who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collected included age, sex, place of residence, tumor location, and IHC expression of CD20 and CD3. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented as frequency distributions and percentages.
Results: A total of 40 patients met the inclusion criteria. The majority of patients were in the 40-60 years age group, with male predominance. The most common tumor location was caecum and mesenterium, while there was no NHL located in the appendix. The distribution of cases showed that the majority originated from districts within the former Banyumas Residency and its surrounding areas. IHC analysis revealed that CD20 positivity was predominant, with a small proportion of CD3 positivity.
Conclusion: NHL of the lower gastrointestinal tract and mesentery at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo most frequently occurred in 40-60 years, males are more dominant than women, with the highest tumor distribution in the mesentery. Most patients reside in Banyumas. The IHC profile was dominated by CD20 positivity, indicating that most cases originated from B-cells.
