Laporan praktik kerja ini berjudul “Pembuatan E-booklet Berbahasa Inggris untuk 
Menyampaikan Informasi Tentang Poros Filosofi Pusaka Yogyakarta”. Pelatihan kerja 
ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 09 September 2024 - 09 Desember 2024. Tujuan dari 
laporan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan proses pelaksanaan praktek kerja lapangan 
pembuatan e-booklet informasi, serta kendala dan solusi dalam pembuatan e-booklet 
di Tourist Information Centre-Dinas Pariwisata Yogyakarta. Tourist Information Centre 
menyediakan banyak informasi dalam berbagai media mengenai pariwisata di 
Indonesia, khususnya Yogyakarta. Namun dalam memberikan informasi mengenai 
sumbu filosofi Yogyakarta, Tourist Information Centre saat ini hanya menggunakan 
komunikasi verbal dengan memberikan penjelasan secara langsung mengenai topik 
tersebut kepada turis. 
Dalam melaksanakan praktik kerja, penulis menggunakan tiga metode yaitu 
observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan sebelum dan selama 
praktik kerja, sedangkan wawancara dan dokumentasi dilakukan selama dan setelah 
praktik kerja. Ketiga metode ini mendukung kegiatan utama kerja magang, yaitu 
pembuatan e-booklet berbahasa Inggris yang berisi informasi mengenai sumbu filosofi 
Yogyakarta.
 Terdapat lima tahapan dalam proses pembuatan e-booklet berbahasa Inggris, yaitu 
pra-penulisan, merancang, merevisi, mengedit, dan menerbitkan. Ada beberapa 
kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses ini, namun kendala-kendala tersebut dapat diatasi. 
Hasil akhir dari e-booklet ini berupa QR code yang dapat diakses, dan akan 
ditempatkan di kantor TIC, dan diharapkan dapat memberikan dan menarik minat 
wisatawan mancanegara untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai sumbu filosofi
 Yogyakarta
. E-booklet ini membantu wisatawan asing untuk mendapat informasi, pembuatan 
e-booklet tentang sumbu filosofi Yogyakarta dalam bahasa Inggris dianggap sebagai 
langkah yang lebih baik, hal ini dilakukan agar informasi yang diberikan dapat lebih 
mudah diakses dan dimengerti oleh para wisatawan mancanegara yang berkunjung ke 
Tourist Information Centre. Dengan menyediakan informasi pada e-booklet, 
diharapkan dapat menjadi media yang bermanfaat di Tourist Information Centre.

This job training report is entitled “Creating English E-booklet to Deliver 
Information About Yogyakarta Heritage Philosopy Axis of Yogyakarta.” It was held on 
September 09, 2024 – December 09, 2024. The purpose of this report are to explain the implementation of job training process of creating the e-booklet information, and the 
obstacles and solutions in creating e-booklet at Tourist Information Centre – Tourism 
Office of Yogyakarta. Tourist Information Centre provides many information in various 
media about the Tourism in Indonesia especially Yogyakarta. However, in providing 
information of philosopy axis of Yogyakarta, The Tourist Information Centre currently 
only uses verbal communication by directly giving the explanation about the topic.
In implementing the job training, the writer uses three methods: observation, 
interview, and documentation. Observation was conducted before and during the job 
training, while the interview and documentation were conducted during and after the 
job training. These three methods were supported the main activity of the internship, 
which was the making of english e-booklet that provide about the information of 
philosopy axis of Yogyakarta.
There were five stages in the process of creating the english e-booklet called, pre-
writing, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing. There were several obstacles faced 
in this process, but these obstacles can be overcome. The final result of this e-booklet 
is a QR code that can be accesed, and will be placed at the TIC office, and it is expected 
to provide and attract foreign tourists to get information about the philosopy axis of 
Yogyakarta. 
This e-booklet will help foreigner to gain the information of the philosophy axis 
of Yogyakarta, making an e-booklet of Philosophy Axis of Yogyakarta in English, is 
considered a better step, this is done so that information provided can be more easily 
accessed and understood by foreign tourist visiting the Tourist Information Centre 
Office. By providing the information on the e-booklet, it is hoped that it could be useful 
media at the Tourist Information Centre.
