PERBEDAAN DEPLESI DAN FEED CONVERSION RASIO ANTARA KANDANG TIMUR DAN KANDANG BARAT FARM RISWIYADI C DESA WONOSARI KEBUMEN
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

This study aims to determine the difference in depletion and FCR between the east and west cages at Riswiyadi C farm, Wonosari Village, Kebumen. The study was conducted at Riswiyadi C farm, Wonosari Village, Kebumen for 41 days on September 20, 2024 – October 31, 2024. The material used during broiler chicken maintenance at Riswiyadi C farm was broiler chickens with a population of 53,900 with the Cobb CP 707 strain originating from the Pakulaut Tegal hatchery. Riswiyadi C farm is divided into 2 cages, namely the east and west cages. The east and west cages each have 3 floors with a closed house type of cage. The east cage measures 51 meters long, 12 meters wide, and 2 meters high, while the west cage measures 48 meters long, 12 meters wide, and 2 meters high. The total population of chickens in the east cage reached 27,489, while in the west cage there were 26,950. The temperature in the east cage during the starter phase ranges from 30–33°C, the grower phase 27–31°C, and the finisher phase 24–28°C. Meanwhile, the temperature in the west cage during the starter phase is in the range of 31–33°C, the grower phase 28–32°C, and the finisher phase 25–28°C. The feed code for the starter phase is S00, the grower phase S11, and the finisher phase S12G. The method used is the T-test. The parameters observed include depletion and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) during one maintenance period. The average depletion data for the east cage of chickens aged 1–6 weeks is 0.58 + 0.25 and the west cage 0.57 + 0.18. The average FCR data for the east cage of chickens aged 1–6 weeks is 0.596 + 0.309 and the west cage 0.575 + 0.294. The results of the T-test analysis showed that the depletion and FCR between the east and west pens were not significantly different (P>0.05). The study concluded that the east and west pens had relatively similar average depletion and FCR. Pens with more optimal maintenance management showed lower depletion levels and better FCR. This is expected to serve as evaluation material for improving production efficiency and chicken health at Riswiyadi C's farm.
