Sektor konstruksi sebagai sektor terbesar keempat dalam struktur PDB Indonesia sering mengalami contract change order yang berdampak pada pembengkakan biaya, penambahan volume pekerjaan, dan keterlambatan jadwal proyek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review (SLR) untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab contract change order pada proyek pembangunan gedung di Purwokerto yang dikerjakan oleh penyedia jasa konstruksi kualifikasi usaha menengah. Berdasarkan kajian literatur, faktor penyebab meliputi kesalahan estimasi biaya dan volume, spesifikasi yang tidak lengkap, perubahan desain, ketidaksesuaian gambar tender dengan kondisi lapangan, kontrak yang kurang lengkap, perubahan metode kerja, perubahan kondisi lapangan, keterlambatan pengadaan material, keterlambatan owner dalam menyetujui perubahan desain, kurangnya koordinasi antar pihak, faktor cuaca, keadaan kahar, dan perubahan regulasi, dengan keadaan kahar dan perubahan regulasi sebagai faktor yang tidak terjadi di semua lokasi penelitian.

The construction sector, as the fourth largest sector in Indonesia's GDP structure, frequently experiences contract change orders that impact cost overruns, increased work volumes, and project schedule delays. This study employs a systematic literature review (SLR) method to analyze the factors causing contract change orders in building construction projects in Purwokerto undertaken by medium-scale construction service providers. Based on literature review, the contributing factors include cost and volume estimation errors, incomplete specifications, design changes, discrepancies between tender drawings and field conditions, incomplete contracts, changes in work methods, field condition changes, material supervision delays, owner delays in approving design changes, lack of coordination between parties, wheater factor, force majeure, and regulatory changes, with wheater factor and regulatory changes factor that does not occur in all research locations.
