Proposal Tugas akhir ini berfokus pada perancangan Access point pada area dengan kepadatan tinggi dengan menggunakan protokol terbaru, serta menganalisis hasil perancangan berdasarkan keperluan area di PT. X terkait rencana pembaruan perangkat access point yang sudah mendukung penggunaannya. Rencana tersebut tidak bisa berjalan begitu saja tanpa adanya langkah-langkah dan metode yang tepat agar mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Salah satu langkah yang dapat diambil adalah menyesuaikan perangkat serta protokol yang digunakan untuk memastikan perangkat bekerja dengan baik dengan lingkungan yang ada. Selain itu, diperlukan juga proses perhitungan kekuatan sinyal access point serta analisis area pemasangan, yang mana mencakup beberapa langkah seperti menentukan Channel, protokol yang digunakan, banyaknya user, bandwidth yang diperlukan, serta pemilihan perangkat. Parameter yang digunakan pada perancangan access point adalah Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), Throughput, Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP), dan Latency.

his final project proposal focuses on the design of access points in high-density areas using the latest protocols, and the analysis of the design results based on the needs of the area at PT. X regarding the planned upgrade of access point devices that already support their use. The plan cannot simply be executed without the right steps and methods to achieve maximum results. One of the steps that can be taken is to adapt the device and the protocol used to ensure that the device works well with the existing environment. It is also necessary to calculate the signal strength of the access point and analyse the installation area, which involves several steps such as determining the channel, protocol used, number of users, bandwidth required and device selection. The parameters used in access point design are signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), received signal strength indicator (RSSI), throughput, effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP) and latency.
