Pariwisata merupakan sektor yang berperan penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah dan berpeluang dalam pembangunan nasional. Salah satu subsektor pariwisata yang berkontribusi dalam konservasi lingkungan dan pelestarian alam dengan melibatkan masyarakat sekitar untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan ekonomi adalah subsektor ekowisata. Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus merupakan objek wisata alam berbasis ekowisata yang terletak di Desa Limpakuwus, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Kurun waktu dua tahun terakhir Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus mengalami penurunan jumlah pengunjung, oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya identifikasi terkait tingkat kepuasan pengunjung pada Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) bagaimana karaktersitik pengunjung objek wisata, 2) bagaimana tingkat kepuasan pengunjung objek wisata, dan 3) apa saja atribut yang perlu untuk ditingkatkan dan dipertahankan oleh objek wisata. Sedangkan, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui: 1) karakteristik pengunjung objek wisata, 2) tingkat kepuasan pengunjung, dan 3) atribut yang perlu ditingkatkan dan dipertahankan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian studi kasus melalui pendekatan mix-method. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Februari sampai Maret 2025, dengan objek penelitian adalah pengunjung Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 120 responden. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik Accidental Sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian melalui metode wawancara, kuesioner, observasi dan studi pustaka. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Karakteristik pengunjung di Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan dengan rentang usia 17-25 tahun, rata-rata pengunjung memiliki tingkat pendapatan direntang Rp 2.338.643 – Rp 4.676.820, sebagian besar pengunjung  berasal dari luar daerah Purwokerto, dan mayoritas berkunjung sebanyak 1 kali dengan kelompok kunjungan dengan teman, pengunjung mengetahui Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus melalui media sosial, seperti platform tiktok dan Instagram, sebanyak 78 persen pengunjung memiliki minat kunjung kembali ke Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus. (2) Tingkat kepuasan pengunjung Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus memperoleh nilai sebesar 76,17 persen yang menunjukkan secara keseluruhan pengunjung merasa puas terhadap fasilitas objek wisata. (3) Atribut yang menjadi prioritas utama untuk perbaikan dan bahan evaluasi Objek Wisata Hutan Pinus Limpakuwus adalah kemudahan akses, kondisi jalan, ketersediaan papan penunjuk dan rambu, keragaman wahana, kondisi dan keamanan wahana serta jarak antar wahana.

Tourism is a sector that plays an important role in regional economic growth and has the potential to contribute to national development. The ecotourism subsector is one of the tourism subsectors that contributes to environmental conservation and nature preservation by involving local communities to achieve economic well-being. The Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction is an eco-tourism-based natural tourism object in Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang Sub-district, Banyumas Regency. Over the past two years, the Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction has experienced a decline in visitor numbers, necessitating an assessment of visitor satisfaction levels at the Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction. The research questions in this study are: 1) what are the characteristics of visitors to the tourist attraction, 2) what is the level of visitor satisfaction at the tourist attraction, and 3) what attributes need to be improved and maintained by the tourist attraction. The objectives of this study are to determine: 1) the characteristics of visitors to the tourist attraction, 2) the level of visitor satisfaction, and 3) the attributes that need to be improved and maintained.
The research method used in this research is the case study method through a mixed methode approach.This research was conducted from February to March 2025, with the object of research being visitors to the Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction. The sample used in the study was 120 respondents. Research sampling using the accidental sampling technique. Collecting research data through interviews, questionnaires, observation, and literature study methods. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).
The results showed that: (1) The characteristics of visitors at the Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction are mostly female with an age range of 17-25 years, the average visitor has an income level in the range of Rp 2,338,643 - Rp 4,676,820, most visitors come from outside the Purwokerto area, and the majority visit once with a group of friends, visitors know the Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction through social media, such as the tiktok and Instagram platforms, as many as 78 percent of visitors have an interest in returning to the Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction. (2) The level of visitor satisfaction of the Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction obtained a value of 76.17 percent, which shows that overall visitors are satisfied with the tourist attraction facilities. (3) Attributes that are the top priority for improvement and evaluation of Limpakuwus Pine Forest Tourism Attraction are ease of access, road conditions, availability of signposts and signs, diversity of rides, condition and safety of rides, and distance between rides.
