Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran terhadap prinsip kerja sama dalam gelar wicara yang berjudul “Naturalisasi untuk Prestasi?” di kanal YouTube Metro TV tahun 2024. Prinsip kerja sama dianalisis berdasarkan teori pragmatik yang dikemukakan oleh Grice (dalam Rahardi, 2017), yang mencakup empat maksim, yaitu maksim kualitas, kuantitas, relevansi, dan pelaksanaan. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Simak, SLBC, sadap, dan rekam. Metode analisis data padan pragmatis dengan teknik dasar PUP dan teknik lanjutan HBS. Sumber data berupa tuturan pembicara yang dipilah menjadi 93 penggalan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 65 data pematuhan terhadap prinsip kerja sama dan 28 data pelanggaran terhadap prinsip kerja sama. Pematuhan paling banyak ditemukan pada maksim relevansi, sedangkan pelanggaran paling sering terjadi pada maksim pelaksanaan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa percakapan dalam gelar wicara tersebut cenderung mematuhi maksim prinsip kerja sama dengan tujuan agar komunikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik.

This research aims to describe the form of compliance and violation of the principle of cooperation in a talk show titled “Naturalization for Achievement?” on Metro TV's YouTube channel in 2024. The principle of cooperation is analyzed based on the theory of pragmatics proposed by Grice (in Rahardi, 2017), which includes four maxims, namely the maxims of quality, quantity, relevance, and implementation. The research method used descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used Simak, SLBC, tapping, and recording. The data analysis method is pragmatic commensurate with PUP basic technique and HBS advanced technique. The data source is the speaker's speech which is sorted into 93 pieces of data. The results showed that there were 65 data of compliance with the principle of cooperation and 28 data of violation of the principle of cooperation. The most compliance is found in the maxim of relevance, while the most frequent violation occurs in the maxim of implementation. This finding shows that the conversation in the talk show tends to obey the maxims of the principle of cooperation with the aim that communication can run well.
