Pengaruh God Locus of Control dan Love of Money terhadap Unethical Behavior (Studi pada Pegawai Ditjen Perbendaharaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah)

Meningkatnya perilaku tidak etis di tempat kerja mulai menjadi sorotan dunia. Direktorat Jenderal Perbendaharaan (DJPb) merupakan salah satu lembaga yang dibentuk sebagai konsekuensi dari reformasi birokrasi yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan lembaga yang terbebas dari pelanggaran. Dalam beberapa penelitian terdahulu ditemukan bahwa locus of control Tuhan merupakan salah satu faktor yang memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap persepsi etika manusia. Sementara itu, love of money pada penelitian terdahulu ditemukan menjadi faktor pemicu terjadinya tindak pidana dan pelanggaran etika, pada beberapa penelitian lainnya ditemukan bahwa love of money tidak memiliki hubungan dengan tindakan tidak etis. Berdasarkan analisis, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan antara god locus of control terhadap perilaku tidak etis, sedangkan variabel love of money terbukti tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap perilaku tidak etis.

The increase in unethical behavior in the workplace is starting to come into the global spotlight. The Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) is one of the institutions that was formed as a consequence of bureaucratic reform which aims to create an institution that is free from violations. In several previous studies, it was found that God's locus of control is one of the factors that has a positive influence on human ethical perceptions. Meanwhile, love of money in previous research was found to be a triggering factor for crime and ethical violations, in several other studies it was found that love of money has nothing to do with unethical acts. Based on the analysis, this research proves that there is a negative and significant influence between god locus of control on unethical behavior, while the love of money variable is proven to have no influence on unethical behavior.
