Lokawisata Baturraden memiliki potensi yang besar dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Banyumas karena akan berdampak terhadap perekonomian masyarakat sekitarnya, tetapi pengelolaan belum dilakukan dengan maksimal sehingga pengelola perlu melakukan perbaikan fasilitas dan aksesibilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengidentifikasi karakteristik pengunjung Lokawisata Baturraden, 2) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi jumlah kunjungan ke Lokawisata Baturraden, 3) menghitung berapa nilai ekonomi Lokawisata Baturraden yang ditujukan dengan metode biaya perjalanan (Travel Cost Method).
Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode survei di Lokawisata Baturraden. Penelitian ini  dilakukan bulan Agustus 2024. Metode pengambilan sampel secara accidental sampling menggunakan rumus lemeshow dengan total pengunjung sebanyak 100 orang. Variabel yang diteliti adalah jumlah kunjungan sebagai variabel dependen dan biaya perjalanan, umur, pendapatan, pendidikan, jarak tempuh, dan waktu perjalanan sebagai variabel independen.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum karakteristik pengunjung Lokawisata Baturraden berdasarkan biaya adalah sebesar >Rp 170.000, berdasarkan jumlah kunjungan adalah sebanyak 3 kali dalam satu tahun, berdasarkan jenis kelamin adalah  perempuan, berdasarkan domisili adalah berasal dari luar kota, berdasarkan pendapatan adalah berpendapatan Rp 3.000.001 – Rp 4.000.000, berdasarkan pendidikan adalah SMA, berdasarkan umur adalah usia 29-31 tahun. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi jumlah kunjungan adalah biaya perjalanan, pendidikan, pendapatan jarak tempuh, dan waktu perjalanan. Sedangkan variabel umur tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah kunjungan. Nilai ekonomi dari Lokawisata Baturraden adalah sebesar Rp 1.417.486.881  per tahun.

The Baturraden Tourism Workshop has great potential in the development of tourism in Banyumas because it will have an impact on the economy of the surrounding community, but the management has not been carried out optimally so that the manager needs to improve facilities and access. This study aims to 1) identify the characteristics of visitors to the Baturraden Tourist Workshop, 2) identify the factors that affect the number of visits to the Baturraden Tourist Workshop, 3) calculate how much economic value of the Baturraden Tourist Attraction is intended by the Travel Cost Method.
This research was conducted using the survey method at the Baturraden Tourist Workshop. This research was carried out on August 2024. The method of accidental sampling used the lemeshow formula with a total of 100 pengunjungts. The variables studied were the number of visits as a dependent variable and travel costs, age, income, education, mileage, and travel time as independent variables.
The results of the study show that in general, the characteristics of visitors to the Baturraden Tourism Site based on cost are >Rp 170,000, based on the number of visits is as many as 3 times in one year, based on gender is female, based on domicile is from outside the city, based on income is Rp 3,000,001 – Rp 4,000,000, based on education is high school, based on age is 29-31 years old. The factors that affect the number of visits are the cost of travel, income and education, mileage, and travel time. Meanwhile, age variables have no effect on the number of visits. The economic value of the Baturraden Tourism Locator is Rp 1,41,486,881  per year.
