KORELASI KADAR Pb UDARA AMBIEN DENGAN Pb DAUN ANGSANA (Pterocarpus indicus Willd) SEBAGAI PENEDUH JALAN BERDASARKAN KARAKTER ANATOMISNYA DI KOTA PURWOKERTO

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pencemaran Pb udara ambien, akumulasi Pb pada daun Angsana, serta korelasi antara kadar Pb udara ambien dengan akumulasi Pb pada daun Angsana. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Parameter yang diamati adalah kadar Pb udara dan kadar Pb pada daun Angsana, kerapatan stomata perluas daun, ukuran stomata dan tebal mesofil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar Pb udara ambien terbesar berada di Jalan Gerilya sebesar 0,1020 µg/m³ dan masih berada di bawah ambang batas baku mutu udara ambien di Propinsi Jawa Tengah, yaitu sebesar 2 µg/m3. Kadar Pb daun Angsana tertinggi di Jalan H.R. Bunyamin antara 0,4716 – 0,4788 ppm. Kadar Pb udara ambien berkorelasi dengan akumulasi Pb pada daun Angsana. Kadar Pb daun Angsana berkorelasi positif terhadap tebal mesofil dan berkorelasi negatif terhadap lebar stomata daun Angsana, namun tidak berkorelasi terhadap kerapatan stomata dan panjang stomata. Tingginya kadar Pb daun Angsana menyebabkan semakin tebal mesofil dan semakin rendah lebar stomata daun Angsana.

The aims of this study were to determine the concentration of ambient air lead (Pb) pollution, the Pb accumulation in Angsana leaves, and the correlation among concentration of ambient air Pb with Pb accumulation in Angsana leaves. Research method which used was survey method with purposive sampling technique. Parameters which observed were ambient air Pb level, Pb level in Angsana leaves, stomata density per leaf area, size of stomata and mesophyll thickness.The results showed that the highest level of ambient air Pb is 0,1020 mg/m3 at Gerilya Street and the values were still below the threshold of the ambient air standard quality in the province of Central Java, which is 2μg/m3. The highest Concentration of Pb in Angsana leaves at H.R. Bunyamin Street, between 0,4716 – 0,4788 ppm. There is correlation among concentration of ambient air Pb with Pb accumulation in Angsana leaves. Concentration of Pb in Angsana leaves positively correlated to mesophyll thickness, negatively correlated to width of stomata, but not correlated to the density and length of stomata. The higher level of Pb in Angsana leaves leads to the higher density of stomata and thickness of mesophyll, but it gives narrower width of stomata.
