PENGARUH PAPARAN ELEKTROMAGNETIK TELEPON SELULER TERHADAP KADAR GULA DARAH PUASA PADA TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus norvegicus) WISTAR

Latar Belakang: Radiasi telepon seluler menyebabkan peningkatan produksi radikal bebas. Radikal bebas dapat mengakibatkan peningkatan hormon adrenokortikotropik (ACTH) serta kortikosteron, kerusakan neuron hipokampus, mengganggu sekresi insulin, dan meningkatkan risiko resistensi insulin.Hal ini memengaruhi kadar gula darah. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh paparan elektromagnetik telepon seluler terhadap kadar gula darah puasa pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) Wistar. Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian ini yaitu true experimental dengan desain posttest only with control group. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 28 ekor tikus putih Wistar yang dibagi ke dalam 4 kelompok. Kelompok 1 tidak diberi paparan telepon seluler selama 45 hari. Kelompok 2, 3, dan 4 diletakan pada kandang perlakuan selama dua jam per hari dan masing - masing kelompok diberi paparan telepon seluler selama 15 hari, 30 hari, dan 45 hari. Kadar GDP diukur menggunakan spektrofotometri dengan reagen GOD-POD. Data dianalisis dengan One Way ANOVA dan uji post hoc LSD. Hasil: Rata – rata kadar GDP menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antarkelompok (p=0,001). Kadar GDP tertinggi pada K2 (130,28±12,97 mg/dL), K3 (107,83±10,47 mg/dL), K1 (103,85±11,76 mg/dL), dan K4 (93,85±5,55 mg/dL). Hasil uji post hoc LSD menunjukkan K1-K2, K2-K3, K2-K4 dan K3-K4 memiliki perbedaan signifikan, sedangkan K1-K3 dan K1-K4 tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Kesimpulan: Paparan elektromagnetik telepon seluler secara signifikan memengaruhi kadar GDP pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) Wistar. Peningkatan kadar gula darah terjadi pada paparan 15 hari, sedangkan paparan 45 hari menunjukkan penurunan.

Background: Mobile phone radiation causes increase production of free radicals. Free radicals can increase adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and corticosterone, damage hippocampal neurons, alters insulin secretions, and increase the risk of insulin resistance. This affects blood glucose levels. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of mobile phone electromagnetic exposure on fasting blood glucose levels in Wistar white rats (Rattus norvegicus). Research method: The research method was true experimental with posttest only with control group design. A total of 28 Wistar white rats (Rattus norvegicus) were divided into 4 groups. Group 1 was not exposed to mobile phones for 45 days. Groups 2, 3, and 4 were placed in treatment cages for 2 hours per day and each group was exposed to mobile phones for 15 days, 30 days, and 45 days. GDP levels were measured using a spectrophotometry with GOD-POD reagent. Data were analyzed using One Way ANOVA and LSD post hoc test. Results: The average GDP levels shows significant differences between groups (p=0.001). The highest GDP levels were in K2 (130.28 ± 12.97 mg/dL), K3 (107.83 ± 10.47 mg/dL), K1 (103.85 ± 11.76 mg/dL), and K4 (93 .85±5.55 mg/dL). The results of the LSD post hoc test shows that K1-K2, K2-K3, K2-K4 and K3-K4 have significant differences, while K1-K3 and K1-K4 do not show significant differences. Conclusion: Mobile phone electromagnetic exposure significantly affects GDP levels in Wistar white rats (Rattus norvegicus). An increase in blood sugar levels occurred at 15 days of exposure, while 45 days of exposure showed a decrease.
