Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk Superioritas tokoh Josee pada anime Josee to Tora to Sakanatachi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Psikologi Sastra yang dikemukakan oleh Alfred Adler. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Data penelitian ini berupa screenshot gambar dan dialog yang diambil dari film Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi sebagai sumber data. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi non-partisipan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk Superioritas yang ditunjukkan tokoh Josee dalam anime tersebut dapat dilihat dari prinsip pokok teori Alfred Adler yaitu inferioritas dan kompensasi, tujuan semu, perjuangan menuju superioritas atau sukses, minat sosial, gaya hidup dan diri kreatif. Kesimpulannya, bentuk superioritas yang ditunjukkan oleh adalah perjuangan meraih superioritas pribadi (striving for superiority). Dari data tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa Josee mampu meraih superioritasnya dengan bantuan Tsuneo serta orang orang sekitarnya dan melewati rasa inferioritasnya dengan mengkompensasikan kelemahannya dengan menunjukkan potensi dirinya.

This study aims to analyze the form of superiority demonstrated by the character Josee in the anime Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi. The theory applied in this research is Literary Psychology Theory proposed by Alfred Adler. This study adopts a qualitative and descriptive approach. The research data consist of screenshots and dialogues taken from the film Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi as the primary data source. The data collection technique employed is non-participant observation. The results of this study reveal that the form of superiority exhibited by Josee in the anime can be observed through the key principles of Alfred Adler's theory, namely inferiority and compensation, fictional finalism, striving for superiority or success, social interest, lifestyle, and the creative self. In conclusion, the form of superiority demonstrated by Josee is her struggle to achieve personal superiority (striving for superiority). The data indicate that Josee is able to achieve her superiority with the help of Tsuneo and those around her, overcoming her sense of inferiority by compensating for her weaknesses and showcasing her potential.
