PENGARUH PEMBERIAN FLY ASH BOTTOM ASH (FABA) DAN PUPUK NZEOSR-PLUS TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK AGRONOMI TANAMAN SELADA (Lactuca sativa L.)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui pengaruh pemberian FABA dan pupuk NZEOSR-Plus terhadap pertumbuhan hasil tanaman selada, mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk NZEOSR-Plus terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tanaman selada, mengetahui perbandingan hasil menggunakan FABA dan pupuk NZEOSR-Plus terhadap beberapa aspek agronomi tanaman selada. Penelitian dilakukan di kelurahan Karangwangkal, Kabupaten Banyumas, Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman mulai bulan Oktober sampai dengan Maret 2024. Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor perlakuan yang terdiri dari 12 kombinasi perlakuan konsentrasi masing-masing FABA 0kg/ha-200kg/ha, dan NZEOSR-Plus 0- 300kg/ha. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian di analisis ragam dan apabila menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nyata maka dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pemberian pupuk FABA dan NZEOSR-Plus dapat meningkatkan semua variabel pengukuran yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun, luas daun, volume akar, bobot segar tanaman, bobot akar tanaman, dan LAI.

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is one type of horticultural plant that is widely cultivated in the community. To meet the vegetable consumption needs of the community, efforts are needed to increase vegetable production efficiently, effectively, and sustainably. Lettuce plant growth can be enhanced by fertilization, which adds essential nutrients needed by plants because the nutrients available in the soil do not always suffice to support optimal plant growth. The application of FABA and NZEOSR-Plus fertilizer is expected to increase lettuce plant productivity. This study aims to determine the effect of FABA and NZEOSR-Plus fertilizer application on lettuce growth and yield, determine the impact of NZEOSR- Plus fertilizer dosage on lettuce growth and production, and compare the results of using FABA and NZEOSR-Plus fertilizer on several agronomic aspects of lettuce plants. The research was conducted on land located in Karangwangkal village on entisol soil by adding FABA and NZEOSR-Plus fertilizer. The experimental method was carried out based on a randomized block design (RBD) with two treatment factors and three replications. The first factor was FABA with doses of 0 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, and 200 kg/ha, while the second factor was NZEOSR-Plus with doses of 0 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, 200 kg/ha, and 300 kg/ha. The research data were tested with the F-test and continued with the DMRT (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test) at the α 5% level. The results showed that plant height, leaf length, and LAI could be increased by the application of FABA. Meanwhile, a significant effect on the number of leaves, root length, fresh root weight, and LAI was caused by the application of NZEOSR- Plus. Agronomic and physiological characteristics as well as lettuce yield were improved by the interaction treatment of FABA and NZEOSR-Plus, except for the content of potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sulfur, and several micronutrients which showed an increase with increasing FABA doses. An interaction between treatment 1 and treatment 2 was found in the agronomic characteristics of the plants. Therefore, to increase lettuce productivity, where the yield is primarily the leaves, the best dosage in the interaction treatment was F2N2
