PRODUKTIVITAS AYAM PETELUR STRAIN LOHMANN BROWN DENGAN TINGKAT UMUR YANG BERBEDA DI DESA SUMBERBOTO, KEC. WONOTIRTO, KAB. BLITAR
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)
Kegiatan magang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkatan perbedaan umur terhadap performa ayam petelur (HDP (hen day production), FCR (feed conversion ratio), dan Mortalitas) di Desa Sumberboto, Kec. Wonotirto, Kab. Blitar.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)
The internship activity aims to determine the effect of age differences on the performance of laying hens (HDP (hen day production), FCR (feed conversion ratio), and Mortality) in Sumberboto Village, Wonotirto District, Blitar Regency. The chicken population is 5,347 from the Lohmann Brown strain which is divided into 3 age groups, namely 40-55 weeks, 78-93 weeks, and 91-106 weeks. Observations were made during the internship using Analysis of Variance 3 treatments with 4 replications. The treatment factors in the form of different ages consist of treatment 1 (40-55 weeks), treatment 2 (78-93 weeks) and treatment 3 (91-106 weeks). The results of observations during the internship activity showed that the age level of laying hens had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on Hen Day Production and Feed Conversion Ratio. The best hen day production and feed conversion ratio were found in young chickens in treatment 1 (40-55 weeks) with (HDP 95.48% and FCR 2.05). On the other hand, the worst hen day production and feed conversion ratio were found in old chickens in treatment 3 (91-106 weeks) with (HDP 65.25% and FCR 2.68). Conclusion: Young chickens (40-55 weeks) had higher production performance compared to older chickens (78-93 and 91-106 weeks). However, the effect of chicken age did not have a significant effect on mortality (P>0.05).
