Produksi Laktosa dan Total Solid Susu Kambing Perah yang Disuplementasi Tepung Lemna sp. pada Pakan Basal Berkromium

Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi tepung lemna pada pakan basal kambing perah yang mengandung mineral Chromium terhadap produksi laktosa dan total solid susu kambing perah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret – Juni 2024 di Peternakan Kambing Perah Mendha Adhikara Farm, Jln. Brawijaya, Dusun 1, Banjaranyar, Kecamatan Sokaraja, Kabupaten Banyumas, Laboratorium Produksi Ternak Perah Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Materi yang digunakan 18 ekor kambing sapera betina (laktasi 1, 2, dan 3) dengan rataan bobot badan 40 ± 3,56 kg, pakan basal yang diberikan sebanyak 4% BK/kg BB. Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok pola split plot. Perlakuan terdiri atas: R0 sebagai pakan basal (40% konsentrat + 60% hijauan) + Chromium 1,5 ppm dan R1 (R0 + tepung lemna sp. 2%). Data penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis variansi dan uji lanjut menggunakan Duncan Multiple Range Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi tepung lemna 2% pada R1 berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap peningkatan produksi laktosa dan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap peningkatan produksi total solid susu. Rataan produksi laktosa: R0 sebesar 60,38 ± 10,78 gram/ekor/hari dan R1 sebesar 80,05 ± 18,61 gram/ekor/hari. Rataan produksi total solid: R0 sebesar 216,42 ± 33,71 gram/ekor/hari dan R1 sebesar 275,01 ± 53,73 gram/ekor/hari. Kesimpulan, suplementasi Lemna sp. 2% (main plot) dalam pakan basal berkromium pada kambing perah dapat meningkatkan produksi laktosa dan total solid susu kambing perah. Periode laktasi (sub plot) dan interaksi antara Lemna sp. dengan periode laktasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan produksi laktosa dan total solid susu kambing perah.

The study aimed to examine the effect of lemna flour supplementation on dairy goat basal feed containing chromium mineral on lactose production and total solid milk of dairy goats. The research was carried out in March – June 2024 at the Mendha Adhikara Farm Dairy Goat Farm, Jln. Brawijaya, Hamlet 1, Banjaranyar, Sokaraja District, Banyumas Regency, Dairy Production Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University. The material used was 18 female sapera goats (lactation 1, 2, and 3) with an average body weight of 40 ± 3.56 kg, basal feed was given as much as 4% DM/kg BW. The research method uses a random design of split plot pattern groups. The treatment consisted of: R0 as basal feed (40% concentrate + 60% forage) + Chromium 1.5 ppm and R1 (R0 + lemna flour sp. 2%). The research data was analyzed by variance analysis and further tests using the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the supplementation of 2% lemna flour in R1 had significant effect (P<0.05) on increasing lactose production and had significant effect (P<0.01) on increasing total milk solid production. Average lactose production: R0 is 60.38 ± 10.78 grams/head/day and R1 is 80.05 ± 18.61 grams/head/day. Average solid total production: R0 is 216.42 ± 33.71 grams/head/day and R1 is 275.01 ± 53.73 grams/head/day. In conclusion, Lemna sp. 2% (main plot) in chromium basalt feed in dairy goats can increase lactose production and total milk solids in dairy goats. The lactation period (sub-plot) and the interaction between Lemna sp. with a lactation period has no effect on the increase in lactose production and total solid milk of dairy goats.
