Pengaruh Suplementasi Fitogenik Pada Ayam Niaga Petelur Terhadap Bobot Telur, Egg Mass, dan Bobot Kerabang Telur

Penelitian “Pengaruh Suplementasi Fitogenik Pada Ayam Niaga Petelur Terhadap Bobot Telur, Egg Mass, Dan Bobot Kerabang Telur” telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 Juli – 27 Agustus 2023. Penelitian suplementasi fitogenik bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tepung bawang putih, sambiloto, dan jahe terhadap bobot telur, egg mass, dan bobot kerabang telur pada ayam niaga petelur. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Experimental Farm, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi dan bahan penelitian terdiri atas ayam niaga petelur strain Hy-line brown umur 50 minggu, tepung bawang putih, tepung sambiloto, tepung jahe. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan yang terdiri atas P0 (kontrol), P1 (pakan basal + 2% tepung bawang putih), P2 (pakan basal + 2% tepung sambiloto), P3 (pakan basal + 2% tepung jahe), dan P4 (pakan basal + 2% tepung bawang putih, sambiloto, dan jahe) dengan masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis variansi (ANAVA). Hasil data rataan bobot telur 63,8 ± 0,68 sampai dengan 66,8 ± 1,72, egg mass 58,5 ± 2,81 sampai dengan 59,3 ± 3,32, dan bobot kerabang telur 8,3 ± 0,38 sampai dengan 8,9 ± 0,44. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa pemberian tepung bawang putih, sambiloto, dan jahe berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap bobot telur, egg mass, dan bobot kerabang. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa suplementasi fitogenik dapat mempertahankan bobot telur, egg mass, dan bobot kerabang telur pada ayam niaga petelur umur 50 minggu.

The research "The Effect of Phytogenic Supplementation in Laying Commercial Chickens on Egg Weight, Egg Mass, and Egg Shell Weight" was carried out on July 10 - August 27 2023. The aim of the phytogenic supplementation research was to determine the effect of garlic flour, bitter and ginger on egg weight, egg mass, and egg shell weight in laying commercial hens. This research is located at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The research material consisted of 50 week Hy-line brown strain commercial laying hens, garlic flour, bitter flour, ginger flour. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments consisting of P0 (control), P1 (basal feed + 2% garlic flour), P2 (basal feed + 2% bitter flour), P3 (basal feed + 2% flour ginger), and P4 (basal feed + 2% garlic flour, bitter and ginger) with each treatment repeated 5 times. Research data was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). Data results mean egg weight 63.8 ± 0.68 to 66.8 ± 1.72, egg mass 58.5 ± 2.81 to 59.3 ± 3.32, and egg shell weight 8.3 ± 0 .38 to 8.9 ± 0.44. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the administration of garlic flour, bitter and ginger had no significant effect on egg weight, egg mass and shell weight. This research can be concluded that phytogenic supplementation can maintain egg weight, egg mass and egg shell weight in 50 week laying commercial hens.
