PENGKAJIAN BERAT JENIS, SOLID NON FAT, DAN TOTAL SOLID SUSU SEGAR DI KECAMATAN CILONGOK DAN SUMBANG KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kadar berat jenis (BJ), solid non fat (SNF), total solid (TS) susu segar dan hubungan antar peubah tersebut, baik secara linier maupun berganda, di Kecamatan Cilongok dan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah sampel susu segar yang berasal dari peternakan di Kecamatan Cilongok (17 peternak) dan Sumbang (23 peternak). Selain itu, dari kedua kecamatan diambil sampel ransum yang digunakan sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan BJ, SNF, dan TS susu segar di Kecamatan Cilongok sebesar 1,029 ± 1,64 g/ml, 8,27±0,33%, dan 11,11 ± 0,56%, sedangkan di Sumbang sebesar 1,028 ± 1,59 g/ml, 8,33 ± 0,42%, dan 11,97 ± 0,73%. Rataan hasil evaluasi kecukupan pakan yang terdiri dari BK, PK, TDN di Kecamatan Cilongok sebesar 0,88 kg, 0,670 kg, dan 2,621 kg, sedangkan di Sumbang sebesar -0,008 kg, 0,535 kg, dan 2,322 kg. Hasil uji “t” menunjukkan bahwa BJ dan SNF susu segar di kedua kecamatan berbeda tidak nyata (P>0,05), sedangkan TS berbeda nyata (P<0,05). Terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat, baik regresinya (R2 = 0,99) maupun korelasinya (R = 0,99) antara BJ dengan SNF dan TS susu segar. Hubungan tersebut dapat diformulasikan sebagai Y = 0,010 + 4,629X1 – 0,848X2 (P<0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa meskipun TS susu segar di kedua kecamatan tersebut berbeda, namun BJ, SNF, TS masih tergolong bagus dan sesuai SNI (2011). Terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara BJ dengan SNF dan TS susu segar di Kecamatan Cilongok dan Sumbang.

The purpose of this study was to examine the specific gravity (SG), solid non fat (SNF), total solid (TS) of fresh milk and the relationship between these variables, both linearly and multiple, in Cilongok and Sumbang Districts, Banyumas Regency. The research materials used were fresh milk samples from farms in Cilongok District (17 farmers) and Sumbang (23 farmers). In addition, ration samples were taken from both districts which were used as supporting data. The results showed that the average SG, SNF, and TS of fresh milk in Cilongok District were 1.029 ± 1.64 g/ml, 8.27 ± 0.33%, and 11.11 ± 0.56%, while in Sumbang they were 1.028 ± 1.59 g/ml, 8.33 ± 0.42%, and 11.97 ± 0.73%. The average results of the evaluation of feed adequacy consisting of BK, PK, TDN in Cilongok District were 0.88 kg, 0.670 kg, and 2.621 kg, while in Sumbang it was -0.008 kg, 0.535 kg, and 2.322 kg. The results of the "t" test showed that BJ and SNF of fresh milk in both districts were not significantly different (P>0.05), while TS was significantly different (P<0.05). There was a very strong relationship, both in regression (R2 = 0.99) and correlation (R = 0.99) between BJ with SNF and TS of fresh milk. This relationship can be formulated as Y = 0.010 + 4.629X1 - 0.848X2 (P<0.05). It can be concluded that although the TS of fresh milk in the two sub-districts is different, BJ, SNF, TS are still classified as good and in accordance with SNI (2011). There is a very strong relationship between BJ with SNF and TS of fresh milk in Cilongok and Sumbang Sub-districts.
