Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh peluang kerja dan persepsi mahasiswa tentang profesi guru terhadap minat melanjutkan Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman angkatan tahun 2021-2023 yang berjumlah 196 orang sehingga teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Berdasarkan teknik tersebut, ditetapkan sampel penelitian berjumlah 132 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Peluang kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan PPG; (2) Persepsi mahasiswa tentang profesi guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan PPG; (3) Peluang kerja dan persepsi mahasiswa tentang profesi guru berpengaruh positif secara bersama-sama terhadap minat melanjutkan PPG. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif peluang kerja dan persepsi mahasiswa tentang profesi guru terhadap minat melanjutkan PPG mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dan berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap minat melanjutkan PPG.  Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Pihak pemerintah sebaiknya bekerjasama dengan instansi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan atau membuka lowongan kerja bagi lulusan kependidikan lebih banyak; (2) Program studi perlu memberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang peran penting guru dalam masyarakat dan prospek karir yang cerah bagi lulusan pendidikan profesi guru sehingga mahasiswa akan tertarik untuk berkarir sebagai guru dan minat melanjutkan pendidikan profesi guru juga akan meningkat.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of job opportunities and students' perceptions of the teaching profession on the interest in continuing the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program among Economic Education students at Jenderal Soedirman University. This research is a quantitative study with data collection methods using questionnaires. The population of this study consists of Economic Education students at Jenderal Soedirman University from the 2021-2023 cohorts, totaling 196 students. Therefore, the sampling technique used in this study is Random Sampling. Based on this technique, the research sample was determined to be 132 students. The research results indicate that: (1) Job opportunities have a positive and significant influence on the interest in continuing the PPG; (2) Students' perceptions of the teaching profession have a positive and significant influence on the interest in continuing the PPG; (3) Job opportunities and students' perceptions of the teaching profession have a positive joint influence on the interest in continuing the PPG. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of job opportunities and students' perceptions of the teaching profession on the interest in continuing the PPG among Economic Education students at Jenderal Soedirman University, and they have a simultaneous influence on the interest in continuing the PPG. The implications of this research The government should collaborate with educational institutions to increase or open more job opportunities for education graduates; (2) The study program needs to provide socialization and education about the important role of teachers in society and the bright career prospects for graduates of the teacher professional education program, so that students will be interested in pursuing a career as a teacher and the interest in continuing the teacher professional education program will also increase.
