Banjir rob menimbulkan kerugian langsung (tangible damage assessment) di berbagai sektor, mulai dari sektor pendidikan, kesehatan, lingkungan hidup, dll. Hingga saat ini, banjir rob masih sering terjadi dan menimbulkan kerugian di wilayah utara Pulau Jawa seperti Tegal. Kota yang perlu dipelajari. Peneliti melihat belum ada penelitian mengenai analisis kerugian akibat banjir rob dengan metode ECLAC di wilayah Kota Tegal khususnya di wilayah Kecamatan Tegal Barat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian untuk menganalisis kerugian ekonomi akibat banjir rob di wilayah Barat. Tegal untuk mengukur kerugian dan dampak guna mengetahui seberapa besar kerugian yang ditimbulkan akibat banjir rob.
Lokasi penelitian ini berada di Kecamatan Tegal Barat Kota Tegal. Jawa Tengah. Penelitian dimulai dari studi literatur, pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, hingga penyajian data. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer hasil wawancara langsung dan data sekunder berdasarkan sumber yang ada. Analisa kerugian dihitung dengan metode ECLAC dengan menghitung kerugian dibagi tiap sektor dan perhitungan tiap sektor dikategorikan menjadi rusak berat, rusak sedang, dan rusak ringan.
Hasil analisis dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa nilai kerugian pada masing-masing sektor dianalisis dengan metode ECLAC, yaitu untuk sektor ekonomi total kerugian yang dialami adalah sebesar Rp. 75.456.000, total kerugian sektor pendidikan sebesar Rp437.514.000, total kerugian sektor infrastruktur berupa jalan sebesar Rp. 913.188.750, dan total kerugian seluruh sektor yang ada sebesar Rp. 1.426.158.750.

Rob floods cause direct losses (tangible damage assessment) in various sectors, starting from the education sector, health, environment, etc. Until now, tidal floods still occur frequently and cause losses in the northern region of the island of Java, such as Tegal City, which needs to be studied. Researchers see that there has been no research regarding the analysis of losses due to tidal floods using the ECLAC method in the Tegal City area, especially in the West Tegal District area by Therefore, research is needed to analyze the economic losses of tidal floods in West Tegal to measure losses and impacts in order to find out how much loss is caused by tidal floods.
The location of this research is in the West Tegal District, Tegal City. Central Java. Research starts from literature study, data collection, data processing, to data presentation. The data used is primary data from direct interviews and secondary data based on existing sources. Loss analysis is calculated using the ECLAC method to calculate losses divided into each sector and the calculation of each sector is categorized into heavy damage, moderate damage and light damage.
The results of the analysis from the research that has been carried out show that the value of losses in each sector has been analyzed using the ECLAC method, namely for the economic sector the total loss experienced was IDR. 75,456,000, total losses in the education sector amounted to IDR 437,514,000, total losses in the infrastructure sector in the form of roads amounted to IDR. 913,188,750, and the total loss from all existing sectors was IDR. 1,426,158,750.
