DESCRIPTION OF LEARNING MOTIVATION OF INTERNATIONAL CLASS NURSING STUDENTS BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING LEADING TO THE PROFESSIONAL NURSING PROGRAMME FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES JENDERAL SOEDIRMAN UNIVERSITY

Latar belakang: Mahasiswa pada tahap perkembangannya sering kali mengambil keputusan yang kurang matang, terutama dalam menentukan minatnya dalam memilih program studi. Motivasi belajar mahasiswa dapat mendorong mahasiswa untuk berperilaku aktif dan berprestasi di kelas. Namun, kurangnya motivasi belajar dapat merugikan efektivitas upaya belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa keperawatan kelas internasional berdasarkan karakteristik dan indikatornya. Metode :Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif melibatkan 64 responden, dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dengan mengisi kuesioner skala motivasi belajar yang telah diisi lengkap melalui Google form, dan diolah dengan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian: Mayoritas peserta berusia 20 tahun (31,1%) dan mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 57 peserta (89,1%). Jalur masuk didominasi oleh SPMB UTBK sebanyak 34 peserta (53,1%) dan pilihan masuk keperawatan didominasi oleh 34 peserta (53,1%) yang bukan merupakan pilihan pertama. Tahun angkatan peserta didominasi oleh angkatan 2022 sebanyak 31 peserta (48,4%). mempunyai kategori motivasi belajar tinggi sebesar 50% Kesimpulan: Peserta merupakan mahasiswa keperawatan internasional mempunyai kategori motivasi belajar tinggi, mahasiswa keperawatan internasional mempunyai motivasi ekstrinsik tinggi. Mahasiswa dapat memahami indicator motivasi belajar dan menyusun rencana strategi belajar. Background: Students at this stage of their development often need to make more mature decisions, especially when determining their interest in choosing a study program. Student learning motivation can encourage students to behave actively and excel in class. However, a lack of motivation to learn can hurt the effectiveness of student learning efforts. This Research aims to measure the learning motivation level of international nursing students based on their characteristics and indicators. Method: Quantitative descriptive Research involved 64 respondents, and purposive sampling techniques were used. Data was obtained by completing a learning motivation scale questionnaire via Google Forms and processing it with univariate analysis. Research Result: The majority of participants were 20 years old (31.1%), and the majority were female, with 57 participants (89.1%). The entry route was dominated by SPMB UTBK, with as many as 34 participants (53.1%), and the choice of entering nursing was dominated by 34 participants (53.1%) who were not the first choice. The class year of participants was dominated by the class of 2022, with 31 participants (48.4%). Has a high learning motivation category of 50% Conclusion: Participants totalling 64 international nursing students had a high learning motivation category, and international nursing students had high extrinsic motivation. Students can understand indicators of learning motivation and develop study strategy plans.
