Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Persentase Penduduk Miskin di Kabupaten/Kota Provinsi Papua Menggunakan Regresi Data Panel

Penelitian ini membahas penggunaan regresi data panel untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang diduga memengaruhi persentase penduduk miskin di kabupaten/kota Provinsi Papua tahun 2017 sampai 2022 dengan bantuan software Eviews 10. Variabel bebas yang diduga memengaruhi Persentase Penduduk Miskin (PPM) dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah penduduk (JP), Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja (TPAK), Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT), dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model terbaik yang terpilih adalah fixed effect model (FEM) dengan variabel-variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap persentase penduduk miskin adalah variabel JP dan IPM. Variabel JP berpengaruh positif terhadap persentase penduduk miskin; sedangkan variabel IPM berpengaruh negatif terhadap persentase penduduk miskin.

This research discussed the use of panel data regression to identify the factors which may influence the percentage of poor population in the districts/cities of Papua Province from 2017 to 2022. In this research, we use the Eviews 10 software. The independent variables which may influence the percentage of poor population in this study are the number of population, Human Development Index, Labor Force Participation Rate, Unemployment Rate, and Regional Gross Domestic Product. The result show that best selected model is the fixed effect model with the variables invloved in model are the number of population and Human Development Index. The number of population has a positive effect on the percentage of poor population; while the Human Development Indeks has a negative effect on the percentage of poor population.
