Profil Daerah Intergenik trnT(UGU)-trnL(UAA) pada Dua Kultivar Anggrek Rhynchostylis gigantea (Lindl.) Ridl.
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)
Rhynchostylis gigantea (Lindl.) Ridl. is a species of orchid originating from Southeast Asia. R. gigantea has many cultivars with varying flower colors, such as red, white, peach, blue and pink. The diversity of colors of R. gigantea encourages the need to carry out comparative genetic studies between cultivars of this orchid species using certain molecular markers, including IGS trnT(UGU)–trnL(UAA). The results showed that there was a DNA sequence of 700 bp before editing and 548 bp after editing. The IGS sequence trnT (UGU)–trnL(UAA) in the two R. gigantea orchid cultivars showed genetic variation in the form of insertions-deletions and base substitutions. Based on the IGS sequence trnT (UGU)–trnL(UAA) in the two R. gigantea orchid cultivars, it can be seen that there is high haplotype diversity and low nucleotide diversity. This indicates a very low genetic relationship between the samples.
