Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan mortalitas dan feed convertion ratio (FCR) pada fase brooding lantai 1 dan 3 kandang Masjud Haryanto dikabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian dilakukan dari tanggal 10 Oktober - 22 November 2023 dikandang Masjud Haryanto. Materi yang digunakan yaitu populasi 23000 ekor lantai 1 dan 23.000 ekor lantai 3 dikandang Masjud Haryanto. Data diperoleh melalui survei dilapangan, data primer didapatkan dari recording dan data sekunder dari wawancara dengan kepala kandang. Data Primer yang telah didapatkan diuji menggunakan independent simple t-test. Hasil uji t berbeda nyata, rata-rata FCR pada lantai 1 sebesar 0,949 dan lantai 3 sebesar 0,898. Rata-rata mortalitas lantai 1 sebesar 0,020% dan mortalitas lantai 3 sebesar 0,027% jauh berbeda nyata. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa FCR lantai 3 lebih rendah yaitu 0,898 dibandingkan 0,949 pada lantai satu dikarenakan suhu, kelembapan dan manajemen pemeliharaan pada lantai 3 tergolong baik. Terdapat juga perbedaan signifikan pada mortalitas antara kedua lantai pada fase brooding dari umur 0-14.

This study aims to determine differences in mortality and feed conversion ratio (FCR) in the brooding phase on the 1st and 3rd floors of the Masjud Haryanto housed in Kebumen Regency. The research was conducted from 10 October - 22 November 2023 at Masjud Haryanto housed. The material used was a population of 23,000 birds on the 1st floor and 23,000 birds on the 3rd floor in the Masjud Haryanto housed. Data was obtained through field surveys where primary data was obtained from recordings and secondary data from interviews with head of the farm. The primary data that was obtained was tested using the independent simple T-test. The T test results are significantly different, the average FCR on the 1st floor is 0.949 and the 3rd floor is 0.898. The average mortality on the 1st floor is 0.020 and the mortality on the 3rd floor is 0.027, which is significantly different.It can be concluded that the FCR on the 3rd floor is lower, namely 0.898 compared to 0.949 on the first floor because the temperature, humidity and maintenance management on the 3rd floor are relatively good. There was also a significant difference in mortality between the two floors in the brooding phase from age 0-14.
