Tulisan ini menggambarkan persepsi siswa miskin mengenai perilaku siswa kaya di sekolah. Siswa kaya di lingkungan sekolah unggulan memiliki perilaku yang berbeda dan memiliki stereotip negative di Masyarakat seperti gaya hidup mewah dan prestasi yang tinggi akibat modal yang dimiliki. Stereotip tersebut tidak sepenuhnya benar. Siswa kaya dan miskin di dalam sekolah memiliki berbagai perbedaan terkait habitus dan kebiasaan. Mereka juga melakukan interaksi yang kemudian memunculkan persepsi dari siswa miskin mengenai perilaku siswa kaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa interaksi siswa miskin dan kaya disekolah, habitus yang dilakukan siswa kaya, dan pengalaman yang dialami siswa miskin menimbulkan berbagai persepsi positif dan negatif mengenai perilaku siswa kaya. Persepsi positif meliputi perilaku siswa kaya yang memiliki sikap rajin belajar dan persepsi negatif meliputi siswa kaya yang suka melakukan gaya hidup mewah serta berperilaku dehumanisme terhadap siswa miskin.

This paper describes the perceptions of poor students regarding the behavior of rich students at school. Rich students in a superior school environment have different behaviors and have negative stereotypes in society such as luxurious lifestyles and high achievements due to their capital. These stereotypes are not entirely true. Rich and poor students within the school have various differences related to habitus and habits. They also have interactions which then give rise to perceptions from poor students regarding the behavior of rich students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used literature study and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the interaction between poor and rich students at school, the habitus carried out by rich students, and the experiences experienced by poor students led to various positive and negative perceptions of the behavior of rich students. Positive perceptions include the behavior of rich students who have a studious attitude and negative perceptions include rich students who like to live a luxurious lifestyle and behave dehumanistically towards poor students.
