The Effect of a High-Performance Work System on Employee Performance Through Employee Engagement at the Purwokerto Tax Office

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh HPWS terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan pajak di Kantor Pajak Purwokerto dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel jenuh. Jumlah responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 karyawan dengan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui google form. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert 1 – 5. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil Penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh HPWS terhadap kinerja karyawan, HPWS terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan HPWS terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui employee engagement pada karyawan pajak di Kantor Pajak Purwokerto.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of HPWS on employee performance with employee engagement as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The population used in this study were tax employees at the Purwokerto Tax Office using the saturated sampling method. The number of respondents used in this study was 96 employees with data collection tools using questionnaires distributed via Google forms. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale of 1 – 5. The data analysis method in this study uses SPSS 25.0 for Windows. The research results prove that there is an effect of HPWS on employee performance, HPWS on employee engagement, employee engagement on employee performance, and HPWS on employee performance through employee engagement on tax employees at the Purwokerto Tax Office.
