Penulis tertarik untuk menyelidiki sejauh mana hubungan emisi gas CO2, konsumsi energi, dan sektor kehutanan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi di 6 negara ASEAN menggunakan model regresi data panel. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan gabungan data time series dan cross section yang diperoleh dari World Bank periode 2000-2019 selama 20 tahun dengan jenis data sekunder. Hasil penelitian dimaksudkan untuk menjawab pertanyaan dan rumusan masalah yang telah dikemukakan pada bab I, kemudian jawaban rumusan masalah dan juga kesimpulan penelitian ini mengenai “Analisis Pengaruh Emisi Gas CO2, Konsumsi Energi , dan Tingkat Pengangguran di Enam Negara ASEAN: Data Panel Regresi” antara lain sebagai berikut: (1) Tidak terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara emisi gas karbon dioksida terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi; (2) tidak terdapat hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara konsumsi energi dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel konsumsi energi yang meningkat menjadi alasan utama pertumbuhan ekonomi. Semakin tinggi dan meningkat angka pengangguran maka pertumbuhan ekonomi akan semakin menurun.

The authors are interested in investigating the extent of the relationship between CO2 gas emissions, energy consumption, and forestry sector with economic growth in 6 ASEAN countries using panel data regression models. The data used in this study is a combination of time series and cross section data obtained from the World Bank in the period 2000-2019 for 20 years with secondary data types. The results of the research have been intended to answer the questions and problem formulations that have been raised in chapter I, then the answers to the problem formulation and also the conclusions of this research on "Analysis of the Effects of CO2 Gas Emissions, Energy Consumption, and Unemployment Rates in Six ASEAN Countries: Regression Panel Data" include the following: (1) There is no positive and significant influence between carbon dioxide gas emissions on economic growth; (2) there is no negative and significant relationship between energy consumption and economic growth, this shows that the increasing variable energy consumption is the main reason for economic growth. The higher and increasing the unemployment rate, the economic growth will decrease.
