PENGARUH DOSIS NITROGEN BEBERAPA PUPUK ANORGANIK TERHADAP PRODUKSI SEGAR DAN PRODUKSI BAHAN KERING RUMPUT SETARIA (Setaria sphacelata)

Penelitian “Pengaruh Dosis Nitrogen Beberapa Pupuk Anorganik terhadap Produksi Segar dan Produksi Bahan Kering Rumput Setaria (Setaria sphacelata)” dilaksanakan di Desa Limpakuwus, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas, serta pengamatan dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agrostologi, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian bertujuan mencari pengaruh dosis nitrogen beberapa jenis pupuk anorganik terhadap produksi segar dan produksi bahan kering Rumput Setaria. Materi penelitian berupa Rumput Setaria, pupuk anorganik Urea, NPK, dan ZA, pupuk kompos sapi perah. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan sembilan perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan didasarkan pada kandungan nitrogen pupuk urea sebesar 100 kg/ha/defoliasi, 200 kg/ha/defoliasi, dan 300 kg/ha/defoliasi. Pupuk Urea, NPK, dan ZA diberikan dengan dicampurkan pupuk kompos sapi perah sebanyak 3kg/petak/defoliasi. Hasil rataan produksi segar dan produksi bahan kering tertinggi didapatkan dari pemberian pupuk anorganik NPK dosis 3 di defoliasi ketiga, yaitu sebesar 138 g/petak/defoliasi atau 920 kg/ha/defoliasi dengan hasil produksi segar 9,64±0,41 kg/1,5m2 atau 64,26±2,74 ton/ha, dan produksi bahan kering sebesar 924,59±146,62g/defoliasi atau 6,16±0,98 ton/ha pada defoliasi ketiga. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk Urea, NPK dan ZA dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh tidak nyata pada produksi segar dan produksi bahan kering Rumput Setaria (Setaria sphacelata).

The study "The Effect of Nitrogen Dose of Several Inorganic Fertilizers on Fresh Production and Dry Matter Production of Setaria Grass (Setaria sphacelata)" was carried out in Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, and observations were carried out at the Agrostology Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University. The study aims to determine the effect of nitrogen doses of several types of inorganic fertilizers on fresh production and dry matter production of Setaria Grass. The research material is in the form of Setaria grass, inorganic fertilizer Urea, NPK, and ZA, dairy cow compost. The study was conducted using the Complete Randomized Design (RAL) method with nine treatments and three repeats. The treatment is based on the nitrogen content of urea fertilizer of 100 kg/ha/defoliation, 200 kg/ha/defoliation, and 300 kg/ha/defoliation. Urea, NPK, and ZA fertilizers are applied by mixing 3kg/plot/defoliate dairy cow compost. The highest average yield of fresh production and dry matter production was obtained from the application of NPK inorganic fertilizer dose 3 in the third defoliation, which was 138 g/plot/defoliation or 920 kg/ha/defoliation with fresh production of 9.64±0.41 kg/1.5 m2 or 64.26±2.74 tons/ha, and dry matter production of 924.59 ± 146.62 g/defoliation or 6.16± 0.98 tons/ha in the third defoliation. The results of variance analysis showed that the application of Urea, NPK and ZA fertilizers with different doses had an intangible effect on fresh production and dry matter production of Setaria Grass (Setaria sphacelata).
