Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Laporan berjudul "Membuat Video Promosi New Small World dengan Teks Bahasa Inggris di TikTok" dan didasarkan pada kegiatan praktik kerja di New Small World. Tujuan utama dari praktik kerja ini adalah untuk membuat video promosi New Small World dengan teks bahasa Inggris di TikTok.

Ada tiga metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan dengan menghitung jumlah miniatur ikon monumen di berbagai negara dan informasi mengenai bangunan-bangunan tersebut, replika taman dinosaurus, taman bunga, dan area kolam renang. Kemudian wawancara dilakukan dengan mengajukan pertanyaan kepada pemilik dan pengelola New Small World dan dokumentasi dilakukan dengan mengambil video berisi tempat tempat dan fasilitas yang ada di New Small World.

Hasil dari praktik kerja ini adalah 5 video yang berisi tentang deskripsi New Small World yang telah diunggah di akun TikTok New Small World, @new.smallworld. Kelima video tersebut menjelaskan secara detail mengenai deskripsi New Small World, mulai dari penjelasan dan lokasi New Small World, kemudian video yang membahas mengenai wahana-wahana yang tersedia di New Small World. Pada video terakhir, dijelaskan secara detail mengenai fasilitas yang ada dan menjadi sorotan dari keseluruhan video. Pengisian suara dalam bahasa Indonesia dan subjudul dalam bahasa Inggris sesuai dengan kebutuhan New Small World untuk memudahkan penonton.

Selama praktik kerja, terdapat beberapa kendala, diantaranya keterlambatan dalam pengambilan materi video, kendala bahasa yang menghambat keefektifan dan cuaca yang tidak menentu, sehingga penulis tidak dapat mengambil video tepat waktu di New Small World. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, diperlukan diskusi untuk menghindari miskomunikasi dan penulis harus melihat ramalan cuaca sebelum mengambil materi.

The report entitled "Creating New Small World Promotional Videos with English Subtitles in TikTok" and based on job training activities at New Small World. The main purpose of the job training is to create New Small World promotional videos with English subtitles in TikTok.

There are three methods to obtained the data, observation, interview, and documentation. Observations were made by counting the exact number of miniature monument icons in various countries and information about these buildings, dinosaur park replicas, flower gardens, and swimming pool areas. Then the interviews were done by asking questions to the owner and the manager of New Small World and the documentations were done by taking the videos of the spots, and facilities that available in New Small World.

The result of this job training is the producing of 5 videos containing the description of New Small World which have been uploaded on the New Small World TikTok account, @new.smallworld. The 5 videos explain in detail the description of New Small World, starting from the explanation and location of New Small World, then videos that discuss the rides available in New Small World. In the last video, it is explained in detail about the existing facilities and a highlight of the entire video. Voice over is in Indonesian and subtitles are in English according to the needs of New Small World to make it easier for the viewer.

During this job training, there are several obstacles, including the delay in collecting video material, the language barrier that hinder effective and the unpredictable weather, therefore the writer cannot take and videos on time in the New Small World. To overcome these obstacles, discussions is needed to avoid miscommunication and the writer have to see the weather forecast before taking the materials.
