Studi Inisiasi Pembungaan Tiga Varietas Anggrek Dendrobium dengan Aplikasi Berbagai Konsentrasi ZPT Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP)

Zat pengatur tumbuh Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) merupakan ZPT golongan sitokinin sintetik yang aktif dan berperan dalam perkembangan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh varietas dan konsentrasi ZPT BAP dalam inisiasi pembungaan tiga varietas anggrek Dendrobium. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Juni 2023 di screenhouse Fakkultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL), yaitu faktor varietas yang terdiri dari varietas Thongchai Gold, Candy Stripe, dan Verus Brown Gavin dan faktor konsentrasi BAP yaitu 0 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm, dan 300 ppm sehingga terdapat12 kombinasi perlakuan, dimana setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali dan diperoleh 36 satuan percobaan. Satu unit percobaan terdapat dua tanaman sehingga diperoleh 72 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan macam varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata pada variabel pengamatan waktu muncul tangkai dan waktu antesis bunga, serta berpengaruh nyata pada variabel panjang peduncle. Perlakuan konsentrasi BAP berpengaruh sangat nyata pada variabel jumlah kuntum per tangkai, waku antesis bunga, dan total jumlah kutnum bunga, serta berpengaruh nyata pada variabel panjang peduncle dan total jumlah bunga mekar. Interaksi antara perlakuan varietas dan konsentrasi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap variabel waktu muncul tangkai dan total jumlah kuntum bunga, serta berpengaruh nyata pada variabel waktu antesis bunga.

Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) is a synthetic cytokinin class plant growth hormon that is active and plays a role in plant development. This study aims to determine the effect of variety and concentration of BAP in the initiation of flowering of three varieties of Dendrobium orchids. This research was conducted from Januari to june 2023 at the screenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Banyumas, Central Jawa. This study used a Randomized Complete Group Design (RAKL), namely the variety factor consisting of Thongchai Gold, Candy Stripe, adn Verus Brown Gavin varieties and the BAP concentration factor, namely 0 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm, and 300 ppm so that there were 12 treatment combinations, where each treatment combinations was repeated three times and obtained 36 experimental units. One experimental unit contained two plants so that 72 plants were obtained. The results showed that the treatment of varieties had a very significant effect on the observation variables of peduncle emergence time and flower anthesis time, and had a significant effect on the peduncle length variable. The treatment of BAP concentration had a very significant effect on the variable number of florets per peduncle, flower anthesis time, and total number of flower cuttings, and had a significant effect on the variable peduncle length and total number of blooms. The interaction between variety and concentration treatment had a very significant effect on the variable of peduncle emergence time and total number of flowers, adn had a significant effect on the variable of flower anthesis time.
