PENGARUH DOSIS NITROGEN DARI JENIS PUPUK ANORGANIK YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP TINGGI TANAMAN DAN PRODUKSI SEGAR RUMPUT ODOT (Pennisetum purpureum cv.Mott)

Penelitian berjudul “Pengaruh Dosis Nitrogen Dari Jenis Pupuk Anorganik Yang Berbeda Terhadap Tinggi Tanaman dan Produksi Segar Rumput Odot (Pennisetum purpureum cv.Mott) dilaksanakan di Desa Limpakuwus, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas dan pengamatan dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agrostologi, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pupuk anorganik terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman dan produksi segar Rumput Odot. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah rumput Odot, pupuk anorganik seperti urea, NPK, ZA dan pupuk organik feses sapi perah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Pemberian level pupuk anorganik mengacu pada kandungan nitrogen urea yaitu 100 kg/defoliasi/ha, 200 kg/defoliasi/ha,dan 300 kg/defoliasi/ha yang cara pemberiannya masing-masing dicampur dengan 3 kg pupuk organik feses sapi perah. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya pengaruh nyata pada perlakuan pupuk anorganik. Perlakuan yang memperoleh hasil rataan tertinggi terhadap tinggi tanaman serta produksi segar adalah pemberian pupuk anorganik jenis nitrogen phospat kalium (NPK) yaitu tinggi tanaman sebesar 89,99 cm/petak atau 89,99 cm/1,5m2 dan 7,93 kg/petak atau 7,93 kg/1,5 m2. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu perlakuan pemberian pupuk anorganik terhadap tinggi tanaman dan produksi segar tidak berbeda nyata atau tidak menunjukan perubahan yang signifikan. Semua perlakuan dianggap seragam sehingga bisa diaplikasikan berdasarkan efisiensi penggunaan dana. Pemberian pupuk urea dosis 1 sebanyak 10 g/defoliasi/petak atau 10g/defoliasi/m² lebih efisien digunakan karena lebih hemat dalam pengeluaran biaya produksi.

The research entitled "The Effect of Nitrogen Doses of Different Types of Inorganic Fertilizers on Plant Height and Fresh Production of Odot Grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv.Mott) was conducted in Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency and observations were carried out at the Agrostology Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University . The aim of the research was to find out the best inorganic fertilizer for plant height and fresh production of Odot Grass. The research materials used were Odot grass, inorganic fertilizers such as urea, NPK, ZA and organic fertilizer from dairy cow faeces. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The level of inorganic fertilizer application refers to the nitrogen content of urea, namely 100 kg/defoliation/ha, 200 kg/defoliation/ha, and 300 kg/defoliation/ha, each of which is mixed with 3 kg of organic fertilizer from dairy cow faeces. The results of the analysis of variance showed that there was no significant effect on the treatment of inorganic fertilizers. The treatment with the highest average yield for plant height and fresh production was the application of nitrogen phosphate potassium (NPK) inorganic fertilizer, namely plant height of 89.99 cm/plot or 89.99 cm/1.5m2 and 7.93 kg/plot or 7.93 kg/1.5 m2. The conclusion of the study was that the treatment of inorganic fertilizers on plant height and fresh production was not significantly different or did not show a significant change. All treatments are considered uniform so that they can be applied based on the efficient use of funds. The higher the dose of inorganic fertilizer given will increase the amount of fresh production produced. Applying level 3 urea fertilizer as much as 30 g/defoliation/plot or 30 g/defoliation/m2 can increase fresh production of odot grass or Pennisetum purpureum CV. Mott was 5.4 kg/plot or 5,4 kg/m2 and plant height was 78.83 cm/plot or 78,83 cm/m2.. Giving urea fertilizer dose 1 of 10 g/defoliation/plot or 10g/defoliation/m² is more efficient to use because it is more economical in production costs.
