Pengaruh Kasgot terhadap Serapan Hara N dan Hasil Beberapa Varietas Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea mays L. Saccharata Sturt)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji pertumbuhan, hasil dan serapan hara N beberapa varietas tanaman jagung manis, mendapatkan dosis pupuk kasgot yang optimum untuk meningkatkan hasil tanaman jagung manis, mengetahui dan mengkaji pengaruh interaksi antara dosis kasgot dan varietas terhadap serapan hara N dan hasil tanaman jagung manis. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan diulang tiga kali. Faktor pertama Varietas V1: Talenta; V2: Secada; V3: Exsotic. Faktor kedua dosis pupuk kasgot K0: 0 ton/ha; K1: 15 ton/ha; K2: 30 ton/ha. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA pada taraf kesalahan 5%, jika menunjukkan pengaruh nyata, maka dilanjutkan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kesalahan 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dosis kasgot berpengaruh terhadap serapan N tanaman, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, kehijauan daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, panjang tongkol berkelobot, bobot tongkol berkelobot, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot, diameter tongkol berkelobot, diameter tongkol tanpa kelobot, hasil petak efektif dan hasil per hektar. Varietas jagung manis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan serapan N tanaman, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot segar tanaman, hasil petak efektif dan hasil per hektar. Interaksi antara dosis pupuk kasgot dan varietas jagung manis berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan luas daun. Dosis pupuk kasgot 15 ton/ha menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis terbaik.

This study aimed to determine and assess the growth, yield and N uptake of several varieties of sweet corn plants, to obtain the optimum dose of maggot frass to increase the yield of sweet corn plants, to determine and assess the effect of the interaction between the dose of maggot frass and varieties on N uptake and yield of sweet corn plants. The design used was a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with factorial pattern and repeated three times. The first factor was Variety V1: Talenta; V2: Secada; V3: Exsotic. The second factor was the dose of maggot frass K0: 0 ton/ha; K1: 15 ton/ha; K2: 30 ton/ha. The research data were analyzed using the ANOVA, if there was a significant differents, continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at an error level of 5%. The result showed that the application of maggot frass had a significant effect on the variables of plant N uptake, plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf greenness, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, cob length, cob weight, cob weight without cob, cob diameter, cob diameter without cob, effective plot yield and yield per hectare. Sweet corn varieties showed differences in plant N uptake, plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, plant fresh weight, effective plot yield and yield per hectare. The interaction between the dose of maggot frass and sweet corn varieties had an effect on plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area. The dose of 15 tons/ha of maggot frass was produced the best growth and yield of sweet corn.
