THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION AS AN ANTECEDENT OF JOB SATISFACTION AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT TOWARD THE ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) (Survey on Employees at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) in Krumput)

The aims of research are to analyze the effect of intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction, affective, normative and continuance commitment on Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB), to analyze the effect of compensation on employees’ intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction and to analyze the effect of compensation on affective, normative and continuance commitment of employee’s PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) in Krumput. Number of respondents in this research was 60 employees. The sampling technique used in this research was probability sampling (selected sample) by simple random sampling, whereas the determination of sample size used Slovin formula. To test hypotheses, it used the Partial Least Square Analysis, which has got the tstatistic value of compensation on extrinsic job satisfaction, tstatistic value of compensation on affective commitment, tstatistic value of compensation on continuance commitment, tstatistic value of extrinsic job satisfaction on OCB and tstatistic value of affective commitment on OCB each is greater than the value of t table, while the tstatistic value of compensation on intrinsic job satisfaction and tstatistic value of intrinsic job satisfaction on OCB each is smaller than the value of t table, then the tstatistic value of compensation on normative commitment, tstatistic value of normative commitment on OCB and the tstatistic value of continuance commitment on OCB each is greater than the value of -ttable. Based on the result of data analysis, it could be concluded that intrinsic job satisfaction has no significant effect on OCB, extrinsic job satisfaction has significant effect on OCB, affective commitment has significant effect on OCB, normative commitment has no significant effect on OCB, continuance commitment has no significant effect on OCB, compensation has no significant effect on intrinsic job satisfaction, compensation has significant effect on extrinsic job satisfaction, compensation has significant effect on affective commitment, compensation has no significant effect on normative commitment and compensation has significant effect on continuance commitment of employee’s PT.
