Keberhasilan sebuah perusahaan dapat diukur dari kinerja karyawan yang dihasilkan. Mencapai kinerja seperti itu adalah bagian penting yang diperhatikan oleh para pemimpin organisasi. Ada beberapa hal yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, yaitu work overload dan jika karyawan tidak dapat menangani keadaan yang menantang, hal ini juga dapat menyebabkan stres. Mendapatkan dukungan adalah mekanisme untuk mengurangi stres. Perusahaan perlu mendukung sosial untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan tersebut. Instrumen dukungan sosial yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dosen pembimbing. Dukungan supervisor juga dapat diartikan oleh sejauh mana karyawan menganggap bahwa supervisor menawarkan dukungan, dorongan, dan perhatian karyawan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis anteseden dan konsekuensi stres kerja dengan dukungan supervisor sebagai variabel moderasi di PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 82 responden karyawan di PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan alat analisis SPSS menunjukkan bahwa Work Overload berpengaruh pada Work Stress dan Work Stress berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Variabel Supervisor Support berhasil memoderasi pengaruh antara Work Overload dan Work Stress, namun gagal memoderasi pengaruh antara Work Stress dan Employee Performance.

A company's success can be measured by the performance of employees who generate. Achieving such a performance is a critical part the organization's leaders pay attention to. There are several things that can affect employee performance, namely work overload and if employees cannot handle challenging circumstances, this can also cause stress. Getting support is the mechanism to reduce stress. The company needs to support social to maintain and improve the performance of these employees. The social support instrument used in this research namely the supervisor. Supervisor support can also be interpreted by the extent to which the employee considers that the supervisor offers their employees support, encouragement, and attention. This study aims to analyze antecedents and consequences of work stress with supervisor support as a moderation variable at PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa. The sample in this study were 82 respondents of employee at PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa. Based on the results of research using SPSS analysis tool shows that Work Overload effect Work Stress and Work Stress effect Employee Performance. The Supervisor Support variable was successful in moderating the effect between Work Overload and Work Stress, but it failed to moderate the effect between Work Stress and Employee Performance.
