Penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Kebumen memiliki peran membantu petani mengubah pengetahuan, sikap, dan ketrampilan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi penyuluh pertanian terhadap keberhasilan tugas pokok penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik random probability sampling. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode SEM (Structural Equation Models). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Kebumen memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 86,35%. Pelaksanaan tugas pokok penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Kebumen memiliki persentase yang tinggi pada variabel membuat data potensi wilayah dan agro ekosistem (Y1) dengan tingkat keberhasilan 95% dan pada variabel melaksanakan penerapan metoda penyuluhan pertanian di wilayah binaan dalam bentuk Kunjungan / Tatap Muka (Y6) dengan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 93% Keberhasilan pelaksanaan tugas pokok penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Kebumen secara keseluruhan rata-rata memiliki persentase sebesar 54%. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi penyuluh terhadap keberhasilan tugas pokok penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Kebumen.

Agricultural extension workers in Kebumen Regency have the role of helping farmers change their knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This study was conducted to determine the effect of motivation of agricultural extension workers on the success of the main tasks of agricultural extension workers in Kebumen Regency. The sampling method in this study was random probability sampling technique. The analysis method used is the SEM (Structural Equation Models) method. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the average agricultural extension workers in Kebumen Regency have high motivation with a percentage of 86.35%. The implementation of the main task of agricultural extension in Kebumen Regency has a high percentage on the variable of making data on the potential of the region and agro ecosystem (Y1) with a success rate of 95% and on the variable of implementing the application of agricultural extension methods in the fostered area in the form of Visits / Face to Face (Y6) with a success rate of 93% The success of the implementation of the main task of agricultural extension in Kebumen Regency as a whole has an average percentage of 54%. There is a significant influence between the motivation of extension workers on the success of the main tasks of agricultural extension workers in Kebumen Regency.
